Even In The Darkest Days

Just a short lullaby I wrote with Rue in mind. It will be in one of my stories. I don't know if I will post it here. I probably will, but who knows.

This is a Hunger Games inspired lullaby I wrote. I plan on using it in a Rue Fanfiction. I have a melody in mind, but I can't exactly post it XD

Even in the darkest days
Just sing to hear the Mockingjays
Your voice so pure is strong yet sweet
They cannot help but to repeat

Sweet dreams are brought to those who hear
A lullaby whispering in your ear
A tune to ease a child's cries
Will lighten up the dimmest skies

Even in the darkest days
There sing the darling Mockingjays
To heal all wounds both large and small
Just listen to their gentle call

To protect each other and stay alive
All while learning to survive
So rest my Mockingjay, sleep now
And when you wake, I'll show you how

Just sing to hear the Mockingjays
