John sighed as he found a pen walking to the foyer to meet Sherlock.

Sherlock looked at the stairs. John emerged. Sherlock tried to act inconspicuous, as though he was I merged in an experiment.

He raised his eyebrows and handed him the pen. "Here you go."

Sherlock rose from his seat. Grabbing the pen. "thank you," he replied cooly, beginning to jot down notes.

"So, what were the important thing, that prevented you from getting the pen yourself?" he asked.

"this." Sherlock gestured to the ominous pile of papers. " and I felt lazy."

He rolled his eyes. "I'm not your servant, Sherlock."

"hmmm, maybe..." Sherlock mumbled.

"Excuse me?" he said and grimaced. "Sherlock!"

" I'm simply implying that it only takes a small push, then you'll do anything I ask..." Sherlock smirked.

"I would not!" John objected and crossed his arms.

" really?" Sherlock raised an eyebrow, " Then why do you?"

"I don't." he said and sat down.

" I'd rethink that answer." Sherlock sat down. Staring at John, smirking again. " your like a trained dog sometimes."

"Sherlock!" he exclaimed. "Would you stop that?"

" should I?" Sherlock implied by leaning forward. Crossing his legs, he smiled at johns frustration.

"Yes!" he said and stood up and shook his head. "I swear to god." he mumbled.

Sherlock chuckled, " Then prove it." A challenge.

He narrowed his eyes. "How?"

" try not to do what I tell you. But every time you don't, I'll discipline you."

"Okay." he said and raised his chin. "This will be harder for you than me."

" We'll see about that," turning around Sherlock grabbed an all too familiar item from behind the couch. The riding crop.

John frowned. "Sherlock, what on Earth are you doing?"

" I said i'd discipline you, whenever you don't listen to me," he smirked, " An unruly dog needs to be taught again."

His mouth fell agape. "Sherlock..."

" Your fault. You agreed." Sherlock smiled at john's shock.

"No, I didn't- I mean... Wait, hold on, I'm not your dog!" he exclaimed.

" You follow me around, listen to me and my orders, and live in my house." Sherlock stated.

"I pay half the rent!" John objected.

" and you whine, bark at me a lot, and practically beg me to play with you."
