Xxxikutoxxx: hello all and welcome to my new fanfic. I really don't have much to say about it besides the fact that I was bored and couldn't think of anything to write for my other fanfics. Hope you enjoy!
Lullaby for a dead man
pairing: kaname/ichiru
warnings: language, oc-ness, male/male relationships, the only other thing I can think of right now is bad grammar and bad descriptions.
summary: after kaname get's hurt from a level E, it tells him he only has a month to find his soul mate or he dies. Finding his soul mate was the easy part. Now he must make ichiru fall in love with him, but how? Time is running out.

Blood. Blood was everywhere. His blood.
Kaname knew someone would smell it and come looking for him. He took deep shaky breaths and tried to stand. One hand on the wall of the abandoned school to support himself while his other hand clutched at his stomach to stop the bleeding. How? How had this happened?
He had been so careful and yet this level E had managed to surprise him by transforming into yuki only to change back when he let his guard down. He wasn't supposed to be here in the first place. Zero was supposed to take this mission, but some idiot messed up and put zero down for two missions at the same time. There would be no way he could take both unless he had the power to be in two places at once.
So with no one else to turn to because everyone else already had missions, they decided to ask kaname to go for them. He had agreed mostly out of boredom, but he was starting to regret that decision right about now. One would think that Kaname Kuran, a pure-blood, would have no trouble getting rid of a level E, but apparently he's not as strong as everyone thinks.
'Come on' he urged himself. 'Stand up. You can take a level E kaname. Stand up!'
but he knew he couldn't, at least not in his current state. His breath hitched as another pain shot through his body like electricity, making his body tremble. He looked up when he heard the level E laugh darkly.
"Does it hurt?" he asked, amused. His red eyes and blonde hair sparkling in the moonlight. He was about a foot taller than kaname, skinny, broad shouldered. Even kaname had to admit that for a level E, he was good looking. Kaname couldn't answer his question, it hurt to much to speak.
'No. I'm just doubled over in pain for no reason at all.' he thought sarcasticly.
The level E looked intently at kaname before speaking again, all amusement gone from his face, though not from his face.
"Before you pass out from blood loss" he paused. "I have something to tell you so pay attention." Kaname straightened his posture as best as he could and looked a little dazedly back at the level E. He silently urged the level E with a nod of the head to show he was listening.
"This wound I gave you," he gestured to kaname's stomach. "will kill you within a months time. The only way to stop it is to find your soul mate and make them fall in love with you." he explained. Kaname had barely registered what he said before falling to the ground. The last thing he heard was two gun shots before he fell unconscious.
