We're back! And this chapter is re-written!

Fenn: Why?

Me: Because, I like to re-write chapters!

Fenn: No, you don't.

Me: Yes, I do.

Chapter 1: …

...Is it done?

...Is it over?

...D-Did we win?

"YOU'LL NevEr WiN!"

In an instant, I was in the sky again. 'What the... crud.'

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

I was flung through the air, closer to Tamatoo. Instinctively, I reached out with my paw, for something that wasn't there. I blinked, before swiveling around. Calculating the math in my head, I realized I would land straight in a path of trees, that would surely kill me. Somehow, the wind picked up, moving me to a small lake, right before I dropped into it. There was a massive splash. I struggled to get to the surface. Before I could drown, however, there was another splash. A swimming figure came closer to me, before I could see it was a Squirtle. He grabbed my paw, and swam to the surface, pushing both of us above it before I could run out of breath. "Th-Thanks..." I said, breathing heavily. The Squirtle nodded.

"You're welcome, Shinx."

As the Squirtle lifted me onto the land, I thought over all the events that led me here. And this gave me one question. "Hey, where are we?" "In Lottom Woods, near the town. Why?" Before he finished his sentence, I ran off.

Fenn's Cave, Lottom Woods, 12:58 PM

I stopped running when I was at the cave. There was now some wort of signpost set up in front of it. Ignoring it, I slowly walked into the cave. There were still eight beds set up, but they were all in a more orgainized line, with only one occupied. I smirked. Tiptoeing to the sleeping figure, I slightly pushed them. SHE opened one eye, before blinking, and looking at me again. Literally a second later, I was tackled into a hug by my best friend.

"Josh!"

I laughed, before hugging her back. "How have you been, Fenn?" I asked. She smiled. "Much better with you here!" Then, something clicked into my mind. "How'd you even get back here?" "I should ask YOU the same thing! You were freakin' gone for a month!" "A month?!"

"Yep!"

By now Fenn and I had stood up. I turned around to see Spark, leaning on a rock. He wiped his forehead and tossed a bag to Fenn. "Just got done explorin'. Of course, I was the one with the easiest dungeon, so it'll probably take a few more hours for Sparks, Violet, Autumm, and Kip to get back." I tilted my head. "What do you mean, 'exploring'?" Spark laughed. "We started up a little job thingy where we can go into a mystery dungeon for reasons. Most of the time it's to rescue someone, or to defeat an outlaw, but sometimes the client just wants to explore a bit!" Fenn told me. I nodded. "Um... 'kay? Is that what the signpost out there is for?" Fenn nodded, which made me happy. I hugged her. Then, we both fell over into a portal...

We're getting right back into the action?

Fenn: Really..?
