DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately I own NOTHING! –cries-
(a/n – This just came to me after I watched Charmed. Hence, this might seem familiar. What you should know is that Draco warmed up to Ginny just to get her trust and then to kill the Weasley family. However, he fell in love, she found out, he disappeared. And now this…)
"Ginny." He breathed. He didn't know why he had captured her, but when he saw her, lying on the ground in the middle of the battlefield, he knew she was alive and he couldn't just let her sit there. He stepped back from the table, where she lay unconscious, and waved his wand. "Enervate!"
Immediately, Ginny jumped and sat up. "No need to worry, Ginny, you're safe here." He said.
With out delay, Ginny began searching her pockets for her wand. Draco grinned wickedly. "You thought I'd just let you have it?" he said, as he took out her 13 inch, maple wand.
"You son of a ---" she began.
"Shh! Of course you know, the more you fight me, the more I know that you still love me." Draco replied.
Ginny glared. "Are you crazy? I hate you!"
Draco nodded. "Yes. But you only hate me because you once loved me. After all, we only hate those who've gotten close to us, don't we? Those who've gotten close enough to touch our hearts."
"You used me. You prayed on my affections just to get to my family." Ginny trembled.
"And for that I am truly, truly sorry. I was just trying to survive in Voldemort's circle. I never intended to fall in love with you either." He replied. Ginny looked away.
"What do you want, Draco?" she said.
"Your family. And life! With you! Think about it. Think about it, Ginny! Once they are dead, you and I can be together. We'll have a second chance! All you have to do is owl your family, asking them for help, and they'll come. I'll do the rest." Draco whispered.
Ginny shook her head. "No-no, you'll never make me do that."
"I can if I have to." he said sternly.
"I'll tell my brothers, they will kill you. And –" she was cut off by Draco, who waved his wand at her. She fell to the floor in pain. "You haven't changed one bit."
Draco smirked. "Isn't that why you loved me? Because I was dangerous, exciting? Why your heart beats a little faster when I'm near you? Or when I do this." He pulled her up and crashed his lips onto hers. Once again, Ginny was in internal bliss. She forgot the war, her family, she only saw and felt Draco. But when he pulled away, she grasped reality. "You still love me, Ginny. You know it and I know it. You're going to help us be together again. Forever."
Ginny grabbed him down from his robe collar and kissed him hard. "I love you." She said, breathlessly.
He nodded and she continued. "And now I know that you didn't just use me, that you really did love me too."
"I still do." Draco replied.
She gave a watery smile and produced her wand, which she had snatched from his robe pockets during their snogging session. "I know. But the truth is that our love isn't nearly as powerful as the love I have for my family. I know what is right, and what is wrong." She kissed him once more on the lips. "Goodbye, Draco."
He gave a look of pure disappointment and horror and Ginny stunned him and he fell to the ground, out cold. Ginny wiped the tears off her cheeks as she bent down, grabbed his hand, and apparated back to the Order of the Phoenix's headquarters.
