Clash of the Generations

Kali: Wow! I can't believe we finally did it!

Kryssie: I know! Yay!

Kali: *cough* Right. Let's get on with it then.

The Legend of Dracarry

Once, long ago in the Year of the Beast, there lived a man of great renown, even before the Hogwarts Four. His name was Dracarry Ploy. He had no family in the records.

Now, Dracarry suffered from a grave illness that caused him to have spasms of personality changes. One day, he was as kind and gentle as a sleeping dove, and the next minute he was a raging demon. Because these changes were so sporadic, Dracarry had no chance of marrying and as such would have no children who would preserve his bloodline.

This gave Dracarry great distress and he sought aid from many highly-skilled healers, who could do nothing. So he sought a cure himself.

After many months of research and experimentation, Dracarry finally believed he had found a cure. Using a complicated combination of potions and spells, he took the two warring personalities and forced them from his body, leaving him able to live as a normal wizard for the remainder of his years.

But there was a problem.

When Dracarry had taken the personalities from himself, they had not simply disappeared. They took human form as two small boys, and now they could, and would, wreak true havoc in the world.

Dracarry realized what a predicament he was in now, and, with many more months of research and experimentation, he dulled the power of the warring "siblings" until a descendant from each bloodline was able to once again merge with each other and create the being of Dracarry once again. It would take many centuries, over a millennium, until such a pair was produced. So each family descending from Dracarry's two small charges took every son from each family who were born in the same year and started to train them in preparation for the Great Merging, which was believed to take place at age 16.

So far, there has not been any evidence of exactly WHEN the prophesied pair will appear, but it was widely believed to be sometime after the mid-20th century…
