Raines didn't as much as roll his eyes or pull the corner of his mouth in annoyance. Simply keeping that blank expression on his face he glanced at a watch displaying the time high above his head.

"It appears I have given your maturity too much credit" He finally said as he glanced down at Rygdea, who was constantly tapping Cid's left shoulder.

"My maturity too much credit?" A gruff chuckle escaped him before his tapping and patting picked up a notch. "These are the things we normal people need to do if we want tallies' like you to notice us!" He teased and squinted his eyes, grinning wolfishly.

Raines observed him for a moment. Frowning a little. "A simple "Hello" or such would not work?"

"Not with ya zoomin' out like that"

Raines cracked a smile, letting out a little laugh before bringing his hand up to ruffle Rygdea's hair.

"Hey stop that!" The captain complained but Cid made sure to really mess it up before stopping. "Grow up!" Rygdea growled as he started fixing his long brown locks which were escaping in every direction.

"Oh how the tables have turned" Cid smirked, gesturing with his right hand. His left one at it's usual place by his stomach.

Rygdea recovered and bumped his hip into Cid's , chuckling. "Ya know what we call people like you where I'm from?"

"Enlighten me"

Rygdea chuckled. Stepping right in front of him he stood on his toes as he put his hands on Raines shoulders. Having to really lean up to place a little kiss on his chin. "A tall drink" Tilting his head a bit his (Previously attacked) Hair fell over his face. " A damn tall drink"

Observing him again Cid smiled, shacking his head. "Ah, how charming. Do you know what we call people like you where I'm from?"

Rygdea smiled brightly. "No, what?"

"Short"

The cavalry captain pouted disappointed. Giving Cid's shoulders a rough push as he fell back on his heels again.

"A was bein' romantic an' shit"

Just pointing at Raines as he was about to apologize. "I'll remember that ya damn doofus!" Just holding up his hands at his superiors attempted apology, leaving the room with an attitude. Cid was left with slumped shoulders.

Knowing he would have to find a charming word for "Short".
