~ The First Guy ~

He was the first guy she stumbled around, her cheeks turning red when their eyes met, her heart beating faster whenever he was around. He was the first guy she had been nervous to call, her hands sweating slightly, trembling as she picked up the phone, slowly dialling the number he had given her just a few days before.

He was her first date, her first real date, the kind of date where nothing goes wrong and everything is perfect. He was a jerk, to everyone but her and she had found herself realizing that when he held her hand across the table, their eyes meeting, her cheeks blushing as his grin only widened. It was their first date, but she already knew he was the one.

She would flick through the magazines, smiling a little when she found an article on him, the way he wore his sunglasses on his head, the way he smirked at the cameras. There was always one thing he could never hide, and that was the look in his eyes; even when she first set eyes on him, she could see it – being a jerk wasn't him. It was Shane Gray, it wasn't Shane... not her Shane.

He was the first guy she held hands with, sparks running up her arm when their fingers grazed and before she knew it, his hand was in hers, gently squeezing as he hesitantly smiled at her. It was then she knew he wasn't ashamed to be with someone like her – non famous, shy, loser. Just knowing that was the best feeling in the world, there wasn't anything like it.

Laying on her bed, the phone pressed to her ear as she giggled into the phone, he was the first guy she spent eight hours on the phone to, smiling when he said something sweet, giggling when he tried to make a joke. She would always remember whispering down the phone when it hit two in the morning, biting down on her lip when they both decided it was time to fall asleep. And she could only hope that they would have more eight hour phone conversations.

She had never had a boyfriend, she had never really thought about it but the moment he asked her to be his girlfriend, she knew this was the moment she had been waiting for. So, with a grin on her face, taking the guitar out of his hands, she kissed him and it was the most exhilarating feeling ever. He was her first kiss, her second, her third and her fourth.

He was her first everything, and she knew, she just knew... that he always would be, her first, her last... her everything.
