"Take it off eriol-kun,"
-
-
-
A tall blue-haired man sighs at the memory while looking up at the sky. He slowly sank down at the swing, grasping the cold metal chains on his side.
-
-
-
"take what off?"
-
-
-
Something shiny caught his eye.
Her ring…he looked down and smiled lovingly at it.
-
-
-
"Your mask, all the walls that surround you…please take them all off,"
-
-
-
His hand slowly reached for her ring. Tears fell out of nowhere as he clutched it.
-
-
-
"Please Eriol-kun,"
"You don't understand…"
"…."
"…."
"I do,"
-
-
-
His hand made his way to his nape and he took the chain that held her ring off.
-
-
-
"You have to understand Eriol-kun. I know that you always want to please everyone, and thats why you hide your trueself…because you're afraid that no one will like you if you show them who you really are. Your whole existance, appearance and personality is all based on you assumption of the wants and needs of others."
"I…."
"But how would you know? How should you know what they want in a friend, what they're looking for in a person. You think that as long as they're happy its alright. Even if with each and every passing day you get hurt more because you are forced to lie to them and to YOU. To make yourself believe that the person you see in the mirror is the real you."
-
-
-
He closed his eyes and clutched the ring. He buried his face in his hands, unabled to keep the tears in after remembering that night.
-
-
-
"Please…let us all know who you really are. You never know, we might like you more than we do now,"
a smile emerges.
"Thank you Tomoyo-chan, but…"
"eh?"
"You too…I'll take it off if you take it off. Please stop wearing your smiley face…it only hurts me more."
Silence
"You've got yourself a deal."
-
-
-
Eriol stared at her ring. Markings were engraved. It said the same thing upside down, something he designed himself.
Suddenly a pair of pale eyes covered his eyes.
"Boo!"
A smile formed at Eriol's face, the scent of lavender gave it away.
"Take it off…" Eriol gently told her. She did what he said as he turned around to face her. Her eyes were locked at his own cerulean pools.
-
He stood up and took her hand.
-
He slipped the ring on her finger.
-
Taking a step back he let her analyze the moment first.
-
A change in her expression told him she got it.
-
Slowly she looked up and saw Eriol holding up his hand.
-
A shiny silver band can be seen from his left ring finger.
-
She was too shocked to say anything. Her eyes began to water and she covered her mouth in disbelief.
-
A ring identical to Eriol's can be seen on her hand.
-
-
"Eriol—"
-
-
"Tomoyo, will you marry me?"
-
-
-
"you've got yourself a deal."
He stared at her for a moment, the moon illuminating her beautiful face.
"Please forgive me"
"For wha—"
No one will ever know what she was going to say, for his lips crashed into hers and forever sealed away those words.
-
-
-
Snow started to descend and dance towards the ground, enveloping a tall blue haired man who had a beautiful amethyst eyed woman in his arms.
