Entry 1: Dixon
Dixon didn't like Freeside. Sure, the place had its ups and downs, but he was totally impassive towards it. Even if it was his main source of income (which he promptly blew over at the Wrangler), he didn't like the place.
His gun was low on bullets, and people need those in a place where raiders, Legionaries, cazadors, and the occasional Deathclaw were none too uncommon.
God damn, he really needed some booze.
Entry 2: Arcade Gannon
Compared to the rest of Freeside, the Old Mormon Fort was a literal paradise. You were protected from thugs, you had doctors to patch you up if you ran into said thugs beforehand, and you could even get some half-decent food and drink.
Not quite a hotel on the Strip, but it served the residents of Vegas well enough. However, when a man waltzes into the place wearing pre-war riot gear with a floating- Eyebot?
Arcade sits down and tries to calm himself before Julie notices, and if she did, there would be an entirely new problem.
The strange man takes off the helmet, and Arcade's eyes can't help but dart to the giant scar running along the side of his forehead.
This man- who wasn't all that unattractive, despite the massive head wound- had obviously seen some things.
Arcade made a mental note to bolt a pulse grenade to that Eyebot if it did anything funny.
Entry 3: Major Elizabeth Kieran
"Here you go, enjoy."
The phrase was practically engraved on the backs of the Major's eyelids. It was becoming routine: Give citizen food, give citizen falsely warm greeting, rinse and repeat. She was getting a bit bored at this point, and started wondering if the local bar accepted NCR dollars.
Maybe she would go visit Julie and get one of the recruits to hold down the place for her. At her rank, a few demerits wouldn't do much other than barely hurt her feelings.
Entry 4: The King
The King barely walked Freeside anymore. It wasn't like anyone would attack him, but he felt he needed to stay with Rex. The poor boy had stopped barking, which everyone had noticed, and there was a noticeable drop in morale at the School of Improv.
Suddenly the door to the stage room is opened, and you see a man covered in armor (with a very impressed Pacer behind him) enter the room.
"Do you always charge people to come see you?"
Yep. The King expected this.
He ended their conversation 500 caps lighter.
