This is a story about a girl who transferred from Dauntless to Erudite after losing the father to her child in a war while the were serving in Dauntless. While in Erudite she meets a boy who gladly wants to be the father to her son, but the only problem is his ex girlfriend. Will the two be together or will his jealous ex manage to pull them apart?

Dear Diary,

Today I went to the mall with my son and he did something rather interesting.. He decided to look up a woman's skirt today. I had to pull him out of the store before she even had a chance to notice. I wish his father, Julian Carter, were still around. I miss him dearly, but unfortunately the wounds he suffered during his time in Iraq didn't help his case... at all. So, needless to say, he's fatherless until I find someone new. But, enough of the sad shit, let's give some good news. I saw my best friend in the whole wide world at the mall today. Her name is Katarina Larusso. She was shopping for lingerie today, heaven only knows why. I can't help but laugh, she says she has a boyfriend and yet, I've never even met him. But I promise you I will find out one way or another.

But, as for my son I have no idea what I'm gonna do with him. I know he's only four and a half but still, he shouldn't be looking up women's skirts. If only his father were around, he'd put some sense into him. I hope... I don't understand what's so hard about raising a four and a half year old child. But then again I am only 22 years old. Kat says I need to get out there more, which isn't easy for me unlike her. She has boys at her beck and call almost everyday. I can't really say I'm jealous.. even though I am. Her cherry red hair that's so full of volume and body, her soft tanned skin, she's just so beautiful. But me, I don't have much luck, I'm shy, avoid men as much as I can... I'm the total opposite of Kat.

Anywho, speaking of her, I'm going to tell you about her supposed boyfriend. He is supposedly tall, with brown hair, blue eyes, and and a large tattoo of all five factions of our community.. Erudite, Candor, Amity, Abnegation, and Dauntless. Oh, he's also said to be an ex-Abnegation now Dauntless. She said she met him at the faction bonfire a few years back.. I think it was two. She said, he's rather reserved. But when he's around her he can be open. Which that's cool. She also said he's reserved because he had a very dark past that he kindly asked her to not mention to anyone, to keep it between them. She knows I wouldn't tell, but she says it's best that she kept it hush-hush for right now. I can respect that though.

Well, I'm going to go. Will write again later on.
