In the dark of the night with the blue spirit's blade
He will cut the throat of both guard and maid
For all who live shall see no more
Of the blue spirit's form going through the door
Blade in hand heading toward the vault
To steal the gold in the silent assault
The goal of this thief is to get their plunder
Or face the wrath of the garrison's thunder
To hide in shadow and cloaked by shade
In the dark of the night with the blue spirit's blade
The banging of locks then the sound of the night
All that is left is one guard mute with fright
With gold in pocket and bloodstained blade
He escapes in shadow capped in shade
With his prize in hand and clean getaway
All they can do is ponder and say
Well whoever did this was a definite pro
To get through the castle and guards overthrow
A mournful procession for the souls that fade

With every new theft and increasing bounty
The rewards are numerous throughout the county
Yet to catch such a thief takes remarkable skill
The bravest from the nations have not the will
For to try to catch an enemy unheard, felt, or seen
Is to ask for your death by a swords sharp, glean

When you know he will get to your home in due time
