A/N- So the amazing group of SA fans on DA (you ALL should go there) there is this awesome idea blowing around, that Anya and Abeke would met and bond. Now, you kinda HAVE to have read not only Immortal Guardians, but The Book Of Shane 3 also to completely understand this. I'm sorry ;w;.
Anyways. Enjoy. There will be two more chapters if your lucky, just so you know.
Abeke was snapped out of her trance as a horse rode up beside her. Turning, she saw an angry looking Anya.
She had sparsely spoken a word to the girl Shane had insisted on taking. It was clear Shane had lied to her the same way he had herself. Had she been more unfocused on their mission, Abeke knew is such situation she would have tried to warn her. But as it was, that never happened. "Grrr...Shane is such a...such a..." The girl vented, but couldn't pin the right word.
"Liar? User? Evil and horrible person?" Abeke finished. Turning slightly to her as they continued to take up the end.
A big smile painted on the girls face and she laughed. Stuttering an 'maybe' between laughs and breaths. At this, Abeke joined in and giggled, nodding her head at the Amyan girl. It was strange...it had seemed she was a bit defensive about Shane(having not stood for such name calling at their first meeting). Still, Abeke took the decent exchange for what it was as the girl quieted and continued.
"Most of the time, yes. I'm afraid." Anya said. "But really, he's just being edgy toady because he's uncomfortable with you guys around. Regaurdless, I'm not going to play his games. I'm assuming that your not his biggest fan either at the moment?" She inquired.
"I haven't been a fan of Shanes in a very long time. I don't know what false story he gave you, but he lied to me to get him into Greenhaven. I thought he was my friend. And that he cared. Then tried to apologize. But I've learned my lesion. I will never forgive him."
"Shane can be SUCH and idiot. I'm sorry his stupidity hurt you." Anya said, half truly sympathetic and half joking and teasing.
Abeke smiled and nodded, and they continued on together, talking until they had made camp. Even sitting next to one another silently once the camp was finished.
