The Pirate and the Princess went to sea
In a beautiful wooden boat,
They took some candy, and were plenty handsy,
Wrapped up in a dark leather coat.
The Pirate looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
'O lovely Swan! O Swan, my love,
What a beautiful Swan you are,
You are,
You are!
What a beautiful Swan you are.'
Swan said to the Pirate, 'You elegant soul,
How charmingly sweet you sing.
O let us be married, too long have we tarried,
But what shall we do for a ring?'
They sailed away for a year and a day,
To the land where the Snowdrop grows,
And there in the wood a Unicorn stood,
With a ring in the end of his nose,
His nose,
His nose!
'Dear horse, are you soon, to sell for one Dubloon
Your ring?' Said the Unicorn, 'I will.'
So they took it away, and were married next day,
By the Priest who lives on the hill.
They dined as they dine, with goblets of wine,
Which they drank with a serving of tea;
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the side of the sea,
The sea,
The sea!
They danced by the side of the sea.
