Chapter 1
The group of people sitting in the Hikawa Shrine could not deny the tension that the hot flames of the sacred fire set into the room. The precious leader and dear friend Usagi Tsukino has been missing now for 3 days. Not sure if she has run away or been taken by the enemy they have gathered together to help Rei utilize her powers. "I'm sorry everyone I cannot get a reading on her, either she's runaway and is blocking my powers; or something truly horrible has happened" Rei's eyes glistened with unfalling tears."Mamoru" Rei blurted as she turned to face him. "Have you felt or heard anything?" "No, not since the last battle, I walked her home as always and that was the last I saw of her. We were supposed to meet the day after for brunch but she never showed. That's when I called you." Mamoru hung his head down.
On the other side of town a young woman walked down the streets of Juban shopping district. Not aware of where she was or why she was there, she kept to herself. Everything seemed foggy, a daze, she was not sure how long she had been there so she just kept walking. People voices were like murmurs under the water; her vision was like looking through a fish bowl. One thing was for sure, her head hurt, her legs were tired, and until she figured out whom she was, or for that matter where she was she had nowhere to go.
Back at the tsukino residence Luna kept a watchful eye on the grief stricken family as they tried to keep up with their day to day lives. "Yes, I understand this could be a runaway case to you but I know my daughter and she would not do something that would hurt and shame the family," Mr. Tsukino screamed into the telephones, speaking with the police. Pacing back and forth he let out a long sigh, "Alright sir thank you for keeping the case open," Kenji hung up the phone and sat down at the kitchen table. His wife Ikuku sat down next to him, rubbing him on the back to comfort his worries. She knew her daughter frequented the night sky fighting the horrible creatures the seem to never let Tokyo have peace. However she wasn't sure she should tell her family that she knew her daughters secret.
It really was a coincidence, the one night she couldn't sleep so she went downstairs for some ice cream, on her way back up she heard her Usagi yell "Moon prism power, make up". She crept to the door slowly and saw her daughter transform into Sailor Moon. Since then she has always waited up at night, worried that one night she wouldn't come home.
Now her worst nightmare was coming true her daughter was missing and there was no telling what could have happened. She didn't even know if she came back from her last battle or not. Ikuku walked into the living room where Shingo was playing his video games, though he pretended to be engulfed by the game she knew he was worried. Shingo and Usagi were always fighting but deep down they still cared about each other.
Back at the Shrine the girls and Mamoru were devising a plan to seach for their lost friend. Ami and Mamoru would take the shopping district, Makoto and Miniko would check the park, and Rei would stay at the Shrine and meditate for her presence. Artemis and Luna would check around the school to see if she has been there. As the group went there separate ways they could not help but wonder if they were on a search and find or sear and identify mission. All they knew was they would be lost if they didn't find their friend soon.
