This is kind of a companion piece to 'My Fucking Hero', but from Dean's POV (for winchesterunited :D). You don't have to read that to get this one though. This is set in season one, and I don't own :)
He thought you were mad at him, but really, you were just jealous. Jealous that he got to run off to law school while you stayed behind. He got to make friends while you just had dad. He got to try and build a normal life for himself while you were off burning bones. And you know he thought that you were dad's favourite, but you also know that that's not true. Because there you were, trying to be just like dad, but Sammy was born a carbon copy of him – right down to the stubbornness and the way he yells. And dad always wanted a better life for the two of you – and there Sammy was, chasing after it, while you just sat there like a good son and did as you were told. And it's not fair, because he should have loved you more – you never disobeyed his orders, you were the better hunter – but no. You had to be born to pretty much the only hunter who would be proud of his sissy son who wants to be a lawyer, rather than the one who can kill pretty much whatever you put him up against. Just your luck.
