Anyone Who Knocks
Alone is all I have learned to be,
Why can't anyone just leave me be,
I don't want to interfere with anyone,
They just seem to care for no reason.
I always feel so distant from everyone,
And yet I really don't seem to care,
Everyone is responsible for themselves,
I need to concentrate on no one and me.
Just stand back and watch me die away,
I don't want or need anyone's help at all,
Caring for me will make my feelings worse,
So back away from my life and thoughts.
Please learn just one thing about me,
Never let anyone who knocks in.
