Heya! Well, this is a story featuring my fictional character, Aurora (who is awesome)! She's really powerful and wise. So yeh...enjoy the 1st chappie xD
I looked around, confused. I was in a large, beautiful meadow. Flowers dotted the sea of rippling green grass. Then, I noticed something strange.
A silver shape was evident among the colors. When I looked closer, my heart skipped a beat. Soarflower! The cat I had loved so dearly, my heart broke when she died to the claws of a rogue, who I had personally hunted down and killed. I bounded towards her. Suddenly, I felt a pelt brush mine. I looked around, but saw nothing.
"Is this really the Soarflower?" A voice whispered, shaking my ear fur. "Look at her closely, her eyes hold an evil glare behind the mask of love. Her fur has a hard, sharp look to it, and her claws are out. This is not the one you love. This is a demon drawing you into its clutches. Trust me, and do not go any closer."
I shook it off. "Keep away from me! You know nothing about her!" I snarled.
"You are blinded by love" It whispered, then faded away.
I finally reached my love, pushing away all thoughts of the voice. She rubbed against me, purring, then looked into my eyes. I froze. I felt a warm liquid running down my back. Blood. I focused on her fur. Each hair was rigid ans ended in a sharp point. I couldn't move. Her eyes paralyzed me. She began to change.
Her beautiful, silver pelt darkened into a hard black. The fur reached towards me, reaching for my blood. Her claws and teeth grew longer, sharper, deadlier . Her sapphire blue eyes became blood red. They fixed in a deadly, evil gaze. She,it, smiled. Thin lips curving up.
"Hello, my love. Amazing we should meet today. I was just getting hungry." The voice was sharp as flint. The pelt pressed into mine, drawing blood that rushed out like a river. I collapsed.
"Of course, we should have some fun before lunch. No need to rush your death. Its always better to let you feel every second of it." Its claws sliced down on my belly. I yowled. Its teeth met in my tail, biting down so hard they met bone. Starclan save me!
The demon suddenly froze. Its red eyes were fixed on something behind me. I moved feebly and looked.
A golden she-cat stood proudly, fixing the demon with its iron-hard glare. The demon growled menacingly, though I detected fear in it too. They stared at each for a heartbeat, then the demon pounced. The golden she-cat and the demon fought furiously. Each blow they put on each other had enough power to leave a cat dead, even without claws, yet the victim hardly flinched. Finally, the dust cleared to reveal the golden she-cat hissing from under the demon. The demon bared its teeth and reached down for the kill. Suddenly, the golden she-cat spoke in a strange, ancient language. That voice! She was the one that told me to keep away from Soar! The demon screamed in pure agony, then fell to the ground, dead. The she-cat reached down and touched my wounds. A tingling, chilling sensation creeped up my spine, and I shivered.
"My name is Aurora. Rest, and you shall wake in safety. But always remember, never trust the dead. But don't worry, Soarflower still loves you, she's in Starclan right now, weeping because of your past wounds and the fact that you trusted her so. Go to sleep now, and wake, warm and safe in your den."
I looked down and saw that wounds were healed. All of a sudden, a wave of weariness fell upon me and I slept.
