Summary: Nobody kill me, but this is a look at Selene's past, but in a pretty unexpected way. I'm altering the way of Selene's turning and stuff, so tell me what you think, kay? So far it's a short One Shot, but if you want more, I can do more. It's all up to you, so review.

HERE WE GO: This takes place during the 'interrogation room' scene

"Why do you hate them so much?"

"I already told you, we're at war," Selene answered.

"So you're just following orders?" Michael asked. Selene looked at Michael as he waited for her answer. "Why can't you just answer the question? … Fine."

"I don't remember," She said softly. "The last thing I remember was being attacked by a Lycan. And that the Lycan had taken my brother."

"How did you become a vampire?"

"Viktor found me. He had worked for a vampire within the vicinity of where I was staying. There had been four elders, at one point in time. The same Lycan that killed my brother and attacked me killed the elder."

"How do you know that?"

"Viktor told me. When I was attacked by the Lycan I lost my memory and went into a coma. Viktor found me by the ocean, and knowing he had to save me, he bit me. Then he told me about what he knew of me. How for years my family had hunted Lycans trying to stop them from destroying the humans – from killing them. And for years the Lycans had killed my family. All that was left was me. The Lycan went after me, and it all came back to me being bitten. The Lycans took everything from me. My Family, my memories …"

"So because of one Lycan the rest are your enemy?" Michael challenged. Selene looked back at him with a scowl.

Then she looked back out the window. "The night Victor bit me, I became a new person. I didn't bother trying to remember who I was, and I even changed my name."

"What was it before?"

"Anna. Anna Valerius."
