Once upon a time in the feudal era of Japan, there was a girl named Mizuki.
She loved to observe things and was most interested in humans and hanyou's.
Since she was a princess, she couldn't go out publicly so
she created a disguise for herself as a hanyou and masked her scent.
One day as she was on her daily stroll, she heard the distant cries of a girl.
She quickly ran to the source of the cries and found a helpless human
girl struggling in the grasp of a nasty creature.
She growled and tore the creature to pieces before turning her attention
to the shivering little girl
"Are you alright sweetie?"
Mizuki asked kindly and warmly.
The terrified girl nodded before smiling
"Hi! I'm Rin!" the girl said happily.
Mizuki smiled "Hello Rin, what were you doing here alone?"
"Rin is not alone, Sesshomaru-sama should be here any second!"
the girl smiled
"Sesshomaru-sama?" Mizuki repeated
Before she could get a confirmation she heard a threatening growl from behind her.
She turned to see the most beautiful creature she had ever laid her eyes on.
He was pale, and had beautiful golden amber eyes.
His beautiful silky silver hair ran down his back and reached his lower legs.
Though he showed no emotion other than growling, she could tell this man was not
pleased with her standing this close to the girl.
"Sesshomaru-sama!" Rin said happily from behind her.
Said youkai glanced at her briefly before glancing back at the hanyou that was currently interfering his vision.
"Who are you and why do you have Rin?" he said calmly with a bit of venom in his voice.
Mizuki didn't flinch back like the inu secretly hoped but stood straight instead.
"I was on my daily walk when I heard screams, I quickly ran over to see
Rin in the clutches of a nasty creature and disposed of it before it could do any harm"
Rin nodded "It's true Sesshomaru-sama, she saved me!"
Sesshomaru glanced at the girl then back at the hanyou. Without a word he
turned on his heel and began to leave.
Mizuki became a little peeved "Hey! don't I at least deserve a thank-you?!"
Sesshomaru stopped in his tracks and turned to face the disrespectful hanyou
"The day this Sesshomaru says 'thank-you' to a filthy hanyou is the day hell freezes over"
he said arrogantly.
That pissed Mizuki off to no end.
"Excuse me? Just because I am a 'filthy hanyou' means that I don't deserve respect?"
she huffed.
Sesshomaru glanced at her as if she were stupid
"of course it does stupid hanyou, someone as high as this Sesshomaru shouldnt even be talking to the
likes of you"
He said smirking, enjoying the fact he was pissing the female hanyou off.
Mizuki swore she saw red but calmed down before she could blow up in front of Rin.
"You know what? I don't need to stand here and be insulted by some arrogant, stuck up
bastard, I saved the girl and my job is done so YOU'RE WELCOME!"
she huffed and walked away.
Rin frowned "Sesshomaru-sama, why were you so mean? You should apolo-"
"This Sesshomaru will do no such thing"
he cut her off before turning on his heel and leaving
"Come Rin and do not slip away from me again"
"Yes Sesshomaru-sama" Rin said sadly before following after the ice lord with
one last glance at the direction the female hanyou walked in.
Mizuki huffed angrily as she walked off. 'Damn that
arrogant bastard! A simple think you would
have been nice, but NO it seems he isn't capable of saying those two words'
and what the hell is with that 'This Sesshomaru' nonsense?
UGH! He aggravates me to no end!'
She took a calming breath
"I'm not going to let that arrogant bastard ruin my day"
Mizuki smiled happily before continuing on her merry way.
