"You'd never give us another shot, Lancey-Boo?" She looked up from the body. Her almost black eyes locking with Lance Sweets' eyes. He shakes his head and then she feels a knife stab into her stomach.
"I'd never give us another shot, Whitney."
She shakes her hair, her ponytail tickling that back of her neck. She closes her eyes, a thick array of eyelashes pressing against her milky skin.
"It's not that I don't feel that same, I just can't trust you."
Her eyes light up with pain and anger. "You can't trust me! You kissed another girl when we ether. What did I ever do?"
Her hands slammed to the table, and then she walked away from the bones. Her red and black ponytail bouncing against her back.
