WILLING TO FAIL

Her task was simple.
She'd done it before.
He trusted her to do it. She couldn't break his trust now.
The task was easy:
Torture,
kill.
Memories of years long past fueled her now; she couldn't be stopped.
But wait...
That woman up there, the one she had disowned...
that woman represented her youth, her innocence.
Things she'd buried a long time ago. Including the woman who shared her eyes, her smile, her laugh.
And, so, Andromeda lived another night.
And just as easy as it was to walk into the task, it was even easier to walk away from.
