A/N: Written for Schermionie's "5, 10, 20, 50, 70, 100 fandoms" challenge on the HPFC. Going to college on Sunday (…tomorrow) so I'll be quiet on the fanfiction front.

There always seemed to be plenty of down time before homeroom in which students chattered endlessly about non-academic things. Tohru was one of the people who never really had much to say when others were deep in conversation. Most people didn't seem to mind that she didn't say much. Tohru seemed completely content with just listening to people's conversations. Her friends Uo and Hana talked to each other animatedly whenever Tohru was around, which made Tohru smile. She liked knowing that her friends always had something interesting to say.

"Someone told me yesterday that I had a bullet-proof smile," Uo said unexpectedly. Hana raised an eyebrow, unsure as to how that statement had anything to do with their previous conversation.

"What does that even mean?" Tohru asked.

"I have no idea, to be honest. Maybe they meant it literally. As in, if someone tried to shoot me, my teeth'll protect me. They are pretty strong and all," Uo tapped on her teeth to see if they were as strong as she thought. They were, without a doubt, very well taken care of. Uo brushed and flossed her teeth regularly.

"But who would want to shoot you in the mouth? That's what I wouldn't understand!" Tohru exclaimed, frazzled at the mere idea of bullets to her friend's mouth.

"Doesn't everyone know that you'd want to aim to shoot someone in a more sensitive place?" Hana asked.

"Why would you say something like that? Why would you want to give a shooter any ideas to shoot Uo with a bullet to her maybe invincible teeth?" Tohru asked, not caring that she sounded borderline paranoid.

"…This is what I get for talking about weird compliments with you two," Uo said, unsure if she should grin or rub her temples in exasperation.
