Summary: Rory and Lorelai are going to go on a cruise with the Emily and Richard. On said cruise, they happen to bump into Jess…and his fiancé. What will Rory do? It's probably going to be a Literati.

Chapter One – Cruise With The Gramps.
FADE IN
INT. LORELAI'S HOUSE – KITCHEN
RORY enters with some mail. She sits down, shuffles through them until she finds one which she holds onto. She goes into the Living Room where LORELAI is sitting on the couch, flipping through a magazine.
RORY: Mom, listen to this (reading out the letter in her hand) 'Dear Lorelai and Rory, Since you have failed to show up at the last few Friday night dinners, we want some quality time with you, so we have bought four tickets for a cruise around the Bahamas, I hope you'll have the decency to accept this generous offer on our behalf, since we have already paid for the tickets (they're enclosed in this letter). Please call us with an answer as soon as you have received this invitation .Yours, Emily and Richard.' Can you believe them?
LORELAI: Oh my god! Looks, like we're cornered.
RORY: You're not saying…
LORELAI: Yeah, hun, it looks like we have to go.
RORY: After all, it is the Bahamas.
LORELAI: We could always avoid them and enjoy the cruise…
RORY: Avoid Emily and Richard Gilmore? You gotta be kidding!
LORELAI: We could try. I don't want to go anymore than you do, but it looks like there's no way out.
RORY: I guess we're going on a cruise…
LORELAI: (groaning) With my parents.
RORY: I need coffee.
LORELAI: Let's go.
(Opening Credits)
CUT TO LORELAI'S HOUSE
LORELAI is standing at the door waiting for RORY to get her jumper.
LORELAI: I guess we should go tell Luke about this cruise.
RORY: OK, lets go, (running down the stairs) I need breakfast.
