People say that "pictures are worth a thousand words". But, pictures represent memories that last a lifetime. Words can only be stated to last a moment. There's always been one special picture that, even though it's simple, has a long path of memories connected together.
The picture that's unforgettable is the one with my best friends Dominique and Haley. That day was the day Haley asked Dominique and I to come over. So we could have some fun in the sun. Looking at the picture you can see we were fighting over a, medium – sized, violet plastic, ball. I can tell by the way Dominique's hands are grasped around the ball; she had an 'iron grip'. That hasn't changed a bit. Unfortunately, Haley was the shortest and weakest person out of all of us. That now has dramatically changed. She has grown a few inches and has gained a lot of strength through swimming.
This photo has so many personal and memorable emotions that goes through my head every time I look at it. This picture always makes me smile. Mainly, for instance, my friends and I, when we hang out together, Some things we do are just priceless. This photo also makes me feel interested to see if Haley or Dominique can remember other get together s. Lastly, the picture makes me feel silly because of our facial expressions. My face looks so determined to get the ball while Haley is laughing her head off. But, Dominique never liked competition. She is just showed off her million – dollar smile for the camera.
I do have other friends besides Haley and Dominique. But, they're the people that I've known forever. I wouldn't trade anything in the word in order for me to hear Dominique joke around and Haley acting like a five – year – old. Maybe a picture is worth a thousand words. If you just know the right things to say about it.
