AN: So, this is my next Solangelo drabble. It's not a jibe at the Percico fans, just a reminder of which ship is more like to be canon. That's all :)
Mission: Solangelo
Percy Jackson was not stupid. Oblivious, yes, after all it did take him several years until he finally got together with his girlfriend. But stupid? No.
The son of Poseidon knew that his cousin Nico had a crush on the resident healer and had began ploting on how to get them together for a little over a week. He would not lose to Nico's stubborness, that's for sure.
A bit later...
"Percy." the daugther of Athena spoke. "What are you doing?"
"Making a plan on how to get Nico and his Romeo together."
"You mean Will Solace?" she asked. "Because if so..." she smirked.
"What are you planning, Wise Girl?" Percy looked a bit worried for his friends.
"Nothing worrying..." Annabeth waved his concern away and went to find Jason to discuss her plan with him, but she had to find him first. He had mysteriously disappeared after the Romans arrived, after all.
Even later, in front of the Apollo cabin, circa 11 p.m.
"Are you sure that this will work?" Hazel asked Annabeth, as she, her, Percy, Jason and Reyna hid in a nearby bush, making sure that neither of their victims could see them.
"Unless Aphrodite messes with them too?" Jason wondered bitterly. "Yes. Nico deserves happiness."
"Agreed." Percy nodded at his cousin's words.
"Shhh!" Reyna interrupted them. "They are coming!"
The small group watched with battered breath as Will invited Nico into his oddly empty cabin (Hazel had asked them all beforehand to stay at dinner for a bit longer and they had agreed after hearing their plan) and, as they entered, Annabeth turned to look at her boyfriend.
"Now, Percy, do it!" she urged him. Percy nodded and, as silently and swiftly as he could, ran over and locked the door, running back to his spot inbetween Annabeth and Jason as they started to hear shouts and screams for help from inside the cabin.
"Now that should work!" Jason smiled.
"Or make them angry at us..." Reyna spoke worriedly.
"Don't worry." Jason looked at her as Percy and Annabeth held hands in anticipation. "They'll thank us one day!"
Several hours later, after lots of screams, death threats from both Nico and Will, some bug bites, 6 a.m. in the morning
"Do you think they fell asleep?" Hazel asked tiredly.
"Most likely." Annabeth yawned. "At least they got some sleep..."
"They are coming out!" Reyna, who was the only one truly awake out of the group, cut across them. They watched with wide-eyes as a ruffled Nico and a flushing Will came out of the cabin (after Will's sister Kayla had graciously let them out as their whole cabin was tired as well), both looking rather shady.
"Do you think they...?" Hazel gaped.
"Well, he finally got some!" Percy stated rather dumbly, causing the three girls to glare at him.
Jason couldn't find it in himself to join them. He was tired, he just wanted to sleep, but couldn't help but think:
"Mission Accomplished."
