Nobody:
Shimako and Sei...
Nobody:
By: Juliet Taylor(Harumichi)
Nobody noticed the hushed words of compassion and understanding under their hidden smiles, or the way they would secretly inch their hands together under the wooden tables. Or the way they're eyes would tenderly stare at one another every few seconds.
Nobody noticed the flushed looks upon Sei and Shimako's face when they arrived late for a meeting or the way Shimako would blush and stutter while Sei randomly smirked in the middle of it.
Nobody noticed the way Sei's usually cold eyes would grow warmer when Shimako would walk in to the room, the way she would place her hand just above Shimako's knee to comfort her. Or the way she would give, her delicate petite seour, her chair after a long day.
Nobody noticed the way Shimako would happily hum a tune while making tea especially for Sei, the way she would giggle lightly when Sei would look at her longingly. Or the way when no one was looking she would go off in to her own little world lovingly staring at her rosary.
No one knew how Shimako touched and how Sei loved. No one knew about the nights that turned in to days. Or the passion through it all.
No one knew the quiet evenings spent laid sprawled upon the couch. Or the joyful giggles and soft teasing. No one knew how the time passed quickly between them, never getting bored. No one the happiness shared only between them.
No one knew the jealousy of when Noriko came along, or the envy upon Yumi. No one knew the pain of two hearts separated apart. Or the pieces that were left.
No one knew of the secret meetings and the quiet walks inside the park. No one knew of the moments that lasted forever and the love that was kept.
No one knew the affection of summer, the simpleness of winter, the gentleness of spring, or the joyfulness of fall.
No one knew the moments, the times, the laughs, the teasing, the smiling, the sharing, the affection.
Nobody and no one...
But them.
