A/N: Hello, I just wanted to write this because well, it'd be funny if it was the actual ending to the books. I mean, I would've died laughing or would've stared at the book like it was some kind of joke. I don't own the books so I have to use the movie ending since it's been more recent that I've seen the movie than read the last book. Not the epilogue, but when Harry throws the elder wand into the water. It will be very short, because it's just the end.
Harry broke the wand in half and threw it into the water below, "That wand is trouble and I've had enough trouble for a lifetime." As he was stepping down, his eyes flung open and looked around the cupboard under the stairs. He scrambled into a sitting position and put on his glasses as he heard his uncle yelling about letters coming out of the chimney, and sure enough, when Harry went to look, Hogwarts letters were flying through the chimney at them.
