No Hesitation;

Kairi was a normal teenage girl. She really wasn't in any "cliques." She just talked to everyone that was nice to her, people that gave her a chance to break out of her shyness and be talkative. Every teen gets picked on by people once in their lives, even if it's behind their backs. Some don't even care if you're right next to them. Kairi let these things slide when she had to face them. It wasn't worth crying over, people are going to talk. Why was she like this? Because this seemed like nothing to what she normally faces.

Every night her parents would fight. They have done this for the past year and have gone on and off about their divorce. She's spent countless hours crying in her room while her parents yelled over glass that shattered. One night Kairi decided to sit out on the front steps while her parents fought because she simply couldn't take it anymore. Tears started to fall from her eyes and she simply spaced out, trying to remember the past and how everything was so peaceful.

-Ven-

The sun had set about an hour ago and Ven had stayed late after school for some sport meetings he had to attend. He thought about his crush and how pathetically weak he felt when she was around him. He kept running until he heard a noise, sobbing. He looked around until he came across a red headed girl on the steps to, what seemed to be, her house. His heart skipped a beat and he was ready to turn around and keep running home. What was she doing outside so late? He thought then deciding to tip toe over and ask her what was the matter. As he got closer he could tell that she was spaced out or day dreaming. His eyes locked on the front door as soon as he heard glass shattering and yelling. With a sigh and a head shake, he picked Kairi up and headed somewhere away from all the yelling. Where you may ask? Heck he didn't know.

He felt Kairi shift in his arms so he put her down by a tree. She woke up and stared at him with confusion in her blood shot eyes. "Hey…" He said shyly looking around. His heart was racing a mile a minute. "Uh… I just wanted to make sure you were okay…" he sighed rubbing the side of his nose in embarrassment. I'm actually talking to her? She probably thinks I'm some sort of stalker…

Kairi giggled and introduced herself and Ven smiled. "I'm Ventus… but you can call me Ven." He said holding out his hand. He watched Kairi's eyes fill with horror. She brought one of her hands up to her mouth as she gasped. "Y-Your eyes…"

Ven had this secret for years. He was cursed by darkness and it would take over his body whenever it pleased him. Usually Ven felt warning signs giving him enough time to get away from school or friends. He couldn't feel the signs this time because he was so nervous to be with his crush. Pain went through his body causing him to fall to his knees and scream. Kairi got up and rushed toward him. "Are you alright?" she yelled but it was too late. Kairi stepped back from him in horror. Ven's hair color had changed to black, his hair had gotten spikier, and his clothing had changed as well. He almost looked like her old friend she hasn't seen in years…

"Sora..?" she couldn't stop the word from escaping her lips. The figure simply smirked and let out an evil laughter. What was happening to Ven?
