Part One:
Daemonium
Prologue:
Princess Celestia (Nicole Oliver) didn't exactly know where she was. As quickly as the strange creatures that she seldom knew took her from her home world, she was enamored by the marvels of their world. Otherworldly by nature, she didn't know weather to be in fear or in awe of the strange marvels compared to her world. The dark, almost impenetrable, sky loomed over the entire boundless horizon. These beings of impressive feats are generations of knowledge compared to her humble world.
That's of course, what she thought before she was escorted towards an elevator to a tower with no ceiling for itself. When she was at the base of this Infinite Tower, she couldn't arch her head back far enough to see the ending of the tower. As if it's length was too massive, it would eventually wrap around of the other side of the horizon till it disappeared from view due to her lack of range to her vision. The elevator quickly rose from the base towards the sky; pass the dark blue horizon of the world below. Now all she was the darkness of the endless void in front of her; the lack of life in the void sent shivers down her spine.
As Celestia is the Sun incarnate in her own world, the mere thought of not being able to see the sun or a moon worried her deeply. She wished she could will a sun of her own into this vast darkness. Even if she didn't know these creatures, she knows that the Sun is always a beacon of hope for those who embrace it's warmth. With a deep sigh, she focused forward towards the lights rapidly passing by her.
Celestia didn't know how long she had been standing there with the lights passing by. Her thoughts lingered in their pale white glow; gnawing at her mind as she aimlessly forgot the passage of time. As if against her will, she doze off in a trance that made he slowly lose her concept of space, time, and personal will.
Jolted awake, Celestia no longer saw the lights that were gleaming of the tower. Once she regained her mental state and her control over her body, she saw the double doors slowly retract back behind the elevator that she rode for what felt like an eternity. Compelled, Celestia began her stride forward; her sherbet colored mane darkened by the endless darkness from her. Carefully touching the ground below her, the tile like floor beneath her hooves reassured her that there is a ground beneath her. With confidence, she galloped forward towards the unknown.
The air around her felt artificial, as if it was specifically there for her benefit. The air she slowly breathed felt as she was being oppressed from the surroundings. It's as if that she herself was not welcomed here. Frightened but steadfast, Celestia continued forward. After all, she was summoned her by those creatures for a reason, and Celestia was determined to see what strange creature summoned her.
After trotting for what felt like hours for Celestia, a sudden dull light illuminated around her. "Halt" a commanding voice came through the darkness. Obeying the strange command, She concentrated on piercing the darkness. Scanning in the darkness she could see, she could faintly see a hooded, bipedal figure in front of her. She was unable to see the creatures face, but she felt as if he was smirking at her.
With a deep breath, Celestia finally spoke through the veil. "I take it that you are the one who has summoned me from my world?" Her posture fixed itself to be commanding, yet open for the creatures further questions.
"First of all, do not be alarmed." The slightly masculine voice replied to Celestia. "I am not your enemy, nor you equal. The formalities from your own royalty do not hold sway over me."
Celestia was puzzled at first, but she replied with her own quick thinking of her own. "Of course, you can't hold sway over me or my sister." Closing her eyes with a smile, "You don't have a Sun to help your kind."
Almost as if her response gave the strange creature a chuckle, the creature walked forward. "Forgive me, but I do not feel as if you are up to speed of what kind of position you are in." Once he was in the out skirts from the faded light around Celestia. He moved his arms up towards his hood. Slowly removing his hood, a pair of yellow eyes and silver hair glanced back at Celestia. His face was smooth, yet toned from most likely rigorous training on his own body. "I am Soren, leader of the entire human race; your creators and superiors in every way." (Mark Fischbach)
Baffled from the mans insane notion, Celestia briefly lost composure followed with an audible "What" escaping her lips. Soren smiled from her reaction, as Celestia quickly regained her stature. "Like I would believe any of that nonsense. I have a duty to my own species that you couldn't comprehend."
What am I saying? Celestia thought to herself with an inner shock inside her body. My body is reacting, but it's not what I want to say to this human. With another chuckle, Soren cocked his head slightly towards the right. "Yes, cause raising the sun is such a massive feat."
With a sigh, Celestia looked back at the mocking man in front of him. "Very well, if you're the embassy of your race, first impressions are very poor." No... This is not what I want to say. What is going on?
Soren raised his left hand up towards his shoulders. With a snap of his fingers, the air just vanished from the area around them, Causing Celestia to run out of breath quickly. With heavy breathing, Celestia bent down on his frontal knees. "Forgive me," Soren started, "the air around you was causing you to act strangely. You're not naturally this defiant."
Celestia slowed down her breathing, as if her eyes widened from the sudden realization as she regained her sense. "How?" Celestia's regal voice piercing through her defeated demeanor. Standing back up right. "How was the air changing me? What sort of magic was that.?"
"It was a lack of hindsight on my part." Soren began while turning his back towards Celestia, walking away in the process. "My very presence around me is designed to change people towards my own will. I merely was testing your endurance from my influence."
Celestia's breathing slowly returned to normal as she stared at Soren. Glancing down towards the tiles, the shame of losing her composure towards this man began to ate her up inside. Regaining her vigor, she breathed in shortly and continued to follow Soren towards the unknown ahead. I have to be on guard with this human. He changed my personality and character just by being near him. This human shouldn't be trifled with. Celestia's thoughts raced as the man's aura continued to oppose her; tearing at her very nature and bending her own thoughts and feelings towards his own will.
"What you feel is the essence of humanities true nature." Soren began as if he can hear Celestia's thoughts. "We have evolved to project our inner thoughts and feelings towards lesser species that we created. We have the power as the creators of all things to influence the will of others to our bidding."
Celestia quickly glanced towards the Soren and back forwards. The oppressive air thickening as if it was trying to make a point. "You speak as if there are many races you created. Is this true?"
Soren gave a slight nod. "We has humans have created many races throughout our early years of life. You are just one of many. Currently we are backlogging our races 2019 year. We are tireless to transfer all the data we learned into this perfect world."
"What is this 'perfect world' called?" Celestia questioned
With an evil smile, Soren flicked his right hand to reveal the entire surface in front of Celestia.
"Aether World." The skyline of the massive human city in Celestia's view was boundless. Multiple skyscrapers piercing the navy blue sky, as if they were trying to pierce it's navy darkness "A world where humanity has digitally created to keep the human race immortal and everlasting." Soren's smile softened as he looked down beneath the horizon. "Truly a majestic place for my vision."
Celestia frowned slightly, after putting together Soren's meaning behind his own words. "So you mean a world only suitable for the likes of you?" Celestia said as she slowly looked away from the skyline and at Soren.
With a sigh, Soren closed the small portal to the view of the main city in Aether World. With a slow grace, he turned around from where they stood. "Come, we have much to discuss." Soren spoke as if he was ignoring the question. With a slight irritated sigh, Celestia followed Soren. "There is quite a number of things that humanity has that we simply don't have time to delve into."
Celestia glanced back towards Soren's head. "I'm certain I can be on a need to know base for the time being." She looked forward again, staring at the small podium coming through the darkness. "You wouldn't summon somepony like me unless it was something very urgent."
"Indeed." Soren eagerly replied. "The matters that be call for your attention to some important human affairs." Without a word, Soren and Celestia made it to the podium that stood in the dark among them. Soren stepped behind it, looking down and pressing a few holographic buttons in the process. A blue screen appeared directly above the podium, just above Celestia's head. "You're one of the only races that has actually interacted with humanity before and hadn't had your memories altered."
Celestia tilted her head in confusion. "What exactly are you talking about? Some kind of massive change in a timeline split?"
"Preciously." Soren continued, pressing a few more buttons to show blurry images of two bipedal figures that weren't clearly human like Soren. Rather, one was a humanoid lynx, the other a humanoid wolf. "These two convicts went back into your past to do one simple directive: Kidnap you and bring you to the human world. Their motive was unclear."
Celestia remembered something along the lines of what had happened back in that time. I remember now. It was four years ago, a strange creature was caught by one of my royal guards on the grounds of invasion and….
"Murder." Soren finished Celestia's thoughts. A screen of a human male with pale skin, long white hair, and crimson red eyes. "This human caught the lynx-human in his home where he committed suicide. The wolf-human was said to be banished from Equestria by you yourself, thus altering the events of you preexisting timeline." Soren finished while a profile of Celestia appeared on the screen.
"It wasn't him, banish me instead." Was what was ringing inside Celestia's mind. This doesn't make sense. The person I banished was… a human. Celestia looked forward after finishing her thoughts. Soren was too busy on his console to notice Celestia's realization. He doesn't know exactly what happened that day. Looking back towards the profile of the man with white hair and red eyes, Celestia's eyes widen as she saw a similar look of that human she banished that day.
That fierce determination, yet he looks much more troubled than the other human. Celestia's eyes widened even more. Could this be the human that…
"Something wrong Celestia?" Soren's voice breaking through the everlasting silence of the void around them.
Celestia shook her head. "It is nothing." Celestia looked back at Soren, "Anyway now I know exactly what you're referencing, I take it that this isn't what you were wanting to talk about?"
Soren gave a short nod. "You see, this man wants is currently enlisting for the guardian program. Normally, Guardians work undercover to make sure that they're not noticed by the habitants of the world they are protecting. However your people are a special case. Would you do us the honors of being the first to try out a little experiment?"
Celestia glanced at Soren with a worried look. "What sort of experiment?"
Soren smiled an evil grin, "Why, your guardian would be directly in contact with your species. I was going to assign someone else, but I thought 'why not the man who actually helped your people?' Then it hit me to ask the one in charge of the world for her opinion."
Celestia looked back towards the picture of the white haired man. Then back towards Soren, noticing the towering mech behind him suddenly. With a reassured smile, she made contact with Soren's evil eyes as she began to turn and walk away.
"Let him join us. It's time for him to earn his wings."
