Drowning..
Swallowed by the abyss.
Cried of help,
And pleas of need
Are over-powered by
The harsh waves.
A flawed soul
Lost in
A sea of perfection.
Slowly being consumed
By the selfishness
Of the ocean
And the ignorance
Of her own being.
Fear surrounding her
Like a fence,
Wanting to break free,
But not knowing how.
Trapped,
Her blood
The only escape.
Slowly,
The cut a begin
To leave a scar.
An everlasting scar,
That can never
Be erased.
And as tired eyes
Go to a
Never-ending sleep.
An angel
With blood-shot wings
Ascends from
Her soul
To escape
To freedom
Where she belongs..
