Summary: Dragons. When we hear that word we think of mighty beasts of the sky, land, and sea. Our legends and myths are filled with them, and many novels have them. But what if they were still among us today? How would their presence affect the world today?
Plotline: The gate in Ginza opens and the legions of the Empire march forth. Hundreds are killed and many others are captured for a fate worse than death. But what if someone was there to stop it? Someone who many would fear, love, worship, or envy? And what if that person was a dragon?
Due to the expanding population of humans, dragons were force to do two things. One was to go and create a separate dimension where they could live in peace, or two, take human forms and live amongst the human themselves. The dragons were like humans, some are good, others are bad, and the rest are in between. The Dragon Council is the main body of government for the dragon people. While most dragons marry within their own species, some take human spouses on occasion. There are two types of dragons, eastern and western, and the western dragons are broken up between chromatic, gem, primordial, and metallic. All dragons (based on their color) can breathe any kind of element.
The main character is a gold dragon (which can breathe fire) who is on a date with a human women, who does not know about his draconic nature, and the date is interrupted by the gate and the invasion that followed. He and two other dragons are forced to reveal themselves to the human population, and drive off the invading force. The Dragon Council meet with the World Government to talk about what they should do.
Romance: The main character is straight and will only do it with females. May have one or multiple lovers. Up to the writer preference.
