MONSTER
His little whispers; love me, love me….
Mokuba was always ignored. His parents long gone, his brother always too busy to spend time with him.
He wanted love.
That's all I ask for; love me, love me…
Was it really too much to ask for? To be loved. Didn't everyone deserve that?
Or was he not important enough?
He battered his tiny fists to feel something…
Mokuba beat the wall with his fist until it bled, crying and telling himself: "Feeling pain is better than feeling nothing."
Wondered what it's like to touch and feel something…
"What's it like?" the boy wondered. To be held lovingly in a persons arms. That was what he truly wanted.
Monster how should I feel…
Mokuba would come to be known as a monster. People would call him that.
But they never bothered to think of how that would make him feel.
Creatures lie here looking through the windows…
He would wake up in the night, hearing their words, and seeing the monster, or creature he had become.
That night he caged her…
"Mokuba, what are you doing?" Rebecca screamed as the boy through her into the basement and locked the door.
Bruised and broke her…
Mokuba smacked the girl and she fell to the floor.
"Why do people love you so much?" he screamed back.
He started kicking her and she covered her head with her arms, but this left her chest unprotected allowing his feet to break some of her ribs.
He struggled closer, then he stole her…
The blonde girl looked so helpless, and for some reason, this made Mokuba want her.
He removed her clothes, and Rebecca couldn't do a thing to stop him.
He then removed his own, and did things he'd only seen in porno flicks that Seto left out sometimes.
Violet wrists and then her ankles Silent pain…
Rebecca struggled against him, but he just bruised her up more, every inch of her was soon either bruised, broken, or violated.
And, yet, she couldn't make a sound, for her broken ribs.
Then he slowly saw their nightmares were his dreams…
"This is it!" Mokuba said, grinning manically. "This is…what I've always wanted! To touch…To feel…To love…"
Monster how should I feel…
"He's a monster!" Rebecca cried to her grandfather. "How could he do that to me?"
And, yet, Mokuba was hurt by the words emotionally as much as she had been by what he'd done.
Creatures lie here looking through the window…
The word spread quickly, and Mokuba was being called a monster no matter where he went.
He even started seeing them in reflections of his mirror and window.
I will hear their voices I'm a glass child I am Hannah's regrets…
He always heard them, even when he was completely alone.
No one understood how fragile Mokuba truly was; like glass.
He knew his mother, were she alive, would regret ever having had him.
Monster how should I feel…
"Monster!" a girl Mokuba had hardly ever talked to spat as she hurried past him.
"What about my feelings?" the boy wondered. "When I hear that, how am I supposed to feel?"
Turn the sheets down Murder ears with pillow lace…
That very night, Mokuba put bits of fluff into his brothers ears, so that he wouldn't hear what the boy was about to do, should it make too much noise.
There's bathtubs full of glow flies Bathe in kerosene…
Mokuba poured kerosene all over himself out in the garage, then lit a match and dropped it.
Their words tattooed on his veins…
When they found him, the next morning, he was dead.
In his arm, he had carved a single word:
"MONSTER"
END!
