Dear Journal,
My name is Albus Dumbledore. Iv'e been the headmaster of Hogwarts for many years, and I love it here. Very peaceful. Today was the first day back from Summer holiday. I'm really worried about Harry, since Sirius died only a few months ago. I will have to write tomorrow, since the sorting ceremony will be taking place in ten minutes.

Dear Journal,
The ceremony went well. The first years got divided into the houses pretty equally- although they all look very bright indeed. I can't wait to see how this school year will end up.
I'm worried that I won't last too much longer because of my hand. I have this awful curse that I got when I put on the horcrux ring. Some of my hand is black. Severus said it will eventually spread. He is very depressed lately. It is probably because Lord Voldemort has ordered Draco Malfoy to murder me. I know Severus will end up having to instead. I think I've said enough.

Dear Journal,
Today I noticed the curse has spread a little to my thumb. Severus told me that it prbably happened a few days ago. I obviously haven't noticed, it has been very busy here lately.
Harry has been seeing Voldemort through his mind. It is starting to worry me, since if this bond between them grows further, Harry and people closest to him could be in grave danger. It is bad enough that he has to die, so that Voldemort will be able to die too. Severus told me I raised him like a pig for slaughter. He doesn't understand one bit.

Dear Journal,
I think that Severus is a much better DADA teacher than I initially presumed. He seems happier.
I hope journals don't have mouths since I have a dirty secret that involves Minerva. I am in love with her, but I wish to not tell her nor mention it to anyone... Someone will eventually find out and make me feel like my insides were ripped out.
