January Event: Level 3 Pairing: Harry/Parvati

Harry sighed as he ran a hand down his face before he went back to staring at the girl in front of him. He may have been dating her for the last three months and care for her but he refused to let her push him into something that he didn't want. "Parvati, you don't know me apparently because if you did then you would realize that I hate being pushed into doing something that I don't want to do. I had enough of that during my Hogwarts years so I refuse to let someone else push me into something I don't want. Why did you not ask me before you made the plans? If this relationship is going to work then you need to work on talking more to me before making plans especially when it comes to something you know I don't like."

Parvati groaned. "I just don't understand, Harry. Why can't you just suck it up and do it for one evening?"

Harry shook his head as he started pacing. "For the simple fact that the Daily Prophet will be in attendance, Parvati. I'm alternatively verified or vilified in their paper. I have no problem going on dates with you which you very well know. What I do not like is going on a date where you know the press will be before we even go and I thought you understood that. I have come to care greatly for you, Parvati, and I do believe that I am even falling in love with you so I don't really want to lose you. However I will not give into you on this. Why can't you understand that?"

Parvati looked at Harry with wide eyes. She hadn't thought about the fact that more than likely the Daily Prophet would print something about Harry instead of the club. She walked over to Harry and stopped him by stepping in front of him and then pulling his face down to hers and kissing him passionately. She broke the kiss and smiled slightly at him. "Alright, Harry, I agree that we won't go to the new restaurant tonight. I care for you too, Harry, and I know that I'm falling in love with you. We'll stay in tonight."

Harry smiled and pulled Parvati tightly to him and kissed her deeply before he led her over to the couch and sat her down. He then put a movie in the DVD player that worked in his house before he sat down beside her. As he watched the movie he enjoyed cuddling with his girlfriend. He was just happy that she hadn't pressed the issue on going to the restaurant because he wasn't so sure if he wouldn't have eventually given in just to make her happy.
