SasuSaku: Wait For Me.

(Note: Alright guys, this is kind of based on a dream that I had either last night or the night before last night. Well, anyways, this "dream" of mine inspired me to write this SasuSaku fanfic. And no it is not the same ending as Sasuke X Sakura: The Kiss. However, the ending in this story is completely different than in Sasuke X Sakura: The Kiss. Anyways, please enjoy the story! P.S. There's a picture on deviantart where it's showing Sasuke about to kiss Sakura the night that he leaves Konoha.)

Story:
As fifteen-year-old Sasuke Uchiha is waiting for his old teammates, Naruto and Sakura, he remembers the night that he left Konoha and that Sakura told him that she loved him. R&R Please!

Sasuke was in his room in Orochimaru's lair while looking at the picture of Squad 7 together. As he remembered the times that he used to be in Squad 7, there was one memory... that he hadn't forgotten... the night that he left Konoha to go to Orochimaru and to kill his older brother, Itachi. But something happened on that fateful night. He then remembered the night... that his own girlfriend... Sakura Haruno... confessed her love for him.

"Sakura..." said Sasuke as he remembered the night that Sakura told him that she loved him.

Flashback...

~ 2 Years Ago... ~

Sakura was begging Sasuke not to leave Konoha by going to Orochimaru for power so he could kill his older brother, Itachi for killing the Uchiha Clan under Konoha's orders.

"Sasuke! I love you so much! Please don't go! If you could only stay with me! I promise! I won't ever let you regret it! We'll be happy together everyday! And you will be happy! I'll do anything for you Sasuke! So please! I'm begging you! Please stay here! I'll even help you get your revenge! I can all your dreams come true Sasuke! Believe me! I can! There's got to be something that I can do for you! So Sasuke... please... stay here... with me... and if that's not possible... then please let me go with you." said a sobbing Sakura.

Sasuke then turned around to face Sakura, and said:

"You really are... annoying!"

"Don't go! If you leave, I'll scream!" cried Sakura as Sasuke disappeared and reappeared behind her.

"Sakura." said Sasuke as Sakura turned around to which he kissed her. Her eyes then widened in shock as she was surprised to see that Sasuke Uchiha, the boy who once called her, "annoying" had actually kissed her!

"Sasuke..." said Sakura to herself as her eyes calmly and slowly closed.

"Sakura..." said Sasuke as Sakura opened her eyes and looked at Sasuke.

"Listen to me... in case I don't come back. I... I want you to promise me one thing." said Sasuke who had a sad look on his face.

"What is it... Sasuke-kun?" asked Sakura in a sob.

"Sakura... promise that... you'll wait for me... and... never... forget me... my love. Never forget me. Goodbye... Sakura... and... thank you for everything." said Sasuke as he knocked Sakura out.

"Sasuke... kun..." said Sakura as Sasuke placed her on a bench.

Sasuke then kissed her forehead, and whispered:

"I love you... Sakura. Farewell... my love... may we meet again... someday... someday soon... my love." as he had a tear in his eye and left Konoha without ever being seen... or heard from again.

End of flashback...

As Sasuke remembered the night that he kissed Sakura, tears began to fall from his eyes... as he began to cry as he remembered the memories that he shared... with his beloved Sakura... and his team... especially his team.

(Note: And that's what I think should've happened in Episode 109 of Naruto.)
