FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: THE HIGHSCHOOL OF EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE-CHAPTER 1
"Big brother wake up! Ed! Edward! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD BIG BROTHER, WAKE UP!" Alphonse yelled as he desperately tried to wake his brother up, but his yelling didn't help to wake Ed up at all, if anything Edward seemed to be going into an even deeper sleep. He left Alphonse no option, "I'm sorry Ed, this is for your own good" Al mumbled apologetically as he moved his metal body into a fighting stance and aimed his fists at the sleeping Edward. "3… 2… 1… PUCH!" Alphonse yelled as he slammed his metal fist into Edward's poor face, "OOOOOOOOWWWW!" Edward immediately yelled as he emerged from his deep slumber and jolted upright in bed whilst rubbing his nose from where Alphonse had hit him "WHAT THE HELL AL! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Edward exclaimed. "Well I couldn't get you to wake up Ed so I had to hit you, it's like equivalent exchange!" Al said as he quickly held up his hands in defence, 'SLEEPING IS NOT ALCHEMY YOU BIG EMPTY TIN CAN!' Ed yelled back at his brother. "Well okay Ed whatever you say, you better get dressed though because it's the first day of high school" Alphonse told his brother, he then left the room to give Edward some time to get ready for school. Edward put his signature black vest on and looked down at his automail arm, "I swear Al, I'll get your body back and my arm and leg".
FLASHBACK
The transmutation circle's light was a bright blue and the two young Elric brothers could feel the pressure blowing through their hair, 'we're gonna bring back Mom!' the two boys though gleefully but suddenly, the circle's colour changed to a crimson red and there were constant flashes of light all around them. A strange gate emerged from the middle of the Yit contained a hurricane, Alphonse was being pulled into it, "BIG BROTHER! HELP!" Alphonse cried. "AL! AL NO! DON'T LET IT TAKE YOU!" Edward yelled in reply as his very own leg started to disintegrate from his body. Ed reached out for his brother's hand but it was too late, the gate had closed. All Edward Elric could do now was attempt to transmute his brother's soul to a suit of armour at the price of his arm…
