I was shooting for stars

On a Saturday night

They say what goes up

Must come down

Gilbert had reached his peak. His time with the Teutonic Knight was over, but he had fabulous wealth and power. He was the richest at the time, even though he was just a little part of the world. People said he was just like the Roman Empire.

As Gilbert sat in his red-cushioned throne, he pondered the thought of being like the Roman Empire. Germania had given the Roman Empire a fatal blow, but was he really that great and powerful? It had to have been an understatement.

It seemed that just yesterday Gilbert had become a nation. Bread crumbs and poverty were his best friends. But there was still one question after he had gained all of this power; would he fall as easily as the Roman Empire?

But don't let me fall

Don't let me fall

Don't let me fall

They say what goes up

Must come down

But don't let me fall

Now he stood in front of the Berlin Wall. The wall divided West (Germany) in two. I was what kept the Kingdom of Prussia alive. The bricks were as fragile as tissue. But it was strong and symbolism for his power.

It was ordered to be torn down immediately.

The fear in Gilbert's blood-red, greed-filled eyes was wild. No!He thought. I'm not ready to go! I have so much power! What about West? Will he take my power? I'm not ready!

Hundreds of people were piled on either sides of the wall. They were ready to be free, not even knowing the consequence of the loss of East Prussia.

West looked at Gilbert and smiled as innocent as a child. That's when it hit Gilbert like a rock.

West had no idea what he was doing. He didn't know that his brother would no longer be a nation. He didn't know that his brother wouldn't be there anymore for him. He didn't know at all.

"Tear it down!" West commanded, thinking his brother had so much pride in what he was doing. Gilbert froze as the bricks were being pulled apart.

Germans acted like they were just playing with Legos. Gilbert silently sobbed to himself, clutching his stomach with one hand and tugging on his hair with the other.

"West!" Gilbert screamed in pain, grabbing his brother's attention. He felt like he was becoming nothing. "West! Don't let me fall!"

Gilbert could no longer feel his body. His lifeless figure fell backwards. His legacy was now only a legend. He had dissolved like dirt. But he wasn't dirt.

He was the Great Kingdom of Prussia.
