Michael X Reader- Sympathy

Diana sat on a rock in the Garden of Eden, besides a bubbling brook. Her white dress blew gently with the wind as she observed the entire scene with her dark brown eyes. The breeze caused her curly blond hair to blow, as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the environment.

"Diana?"

She turned around and saw the Prince of Heaven, Michael, standing behind her. He was looking at her with his deep blue eyes. He gave her a dazzling smile, making her blush furiously. Diana had always had a thing for Michael- He was just perfect. Seeing him made her feel as though your knees would give away. If only he knew how much she loved him.

Diana managed to mumble- "Y-Yes?"

He smiled and walked over to sit next to her, on the same rock. She could feel her heart beating frantically. Diana took a deep breath and looked at him with a smile on her lips. Diana asked him, "How can I help you Michael?"

He looked at the brook, saying- "Humans are such fascinating creatures, aren't they? Father adores them and wants us to do the same, right?" She nodded, not understanding where this was going.

He spoke again, his voice bitter-"Why doesn't he see how much their creation has destroyed us. They are fascinating, no doubt in that. But are they really worth destroying your own family? I cast out my own brother, the one I have loved so long, just because of these petty little things. I cast out my own brother!"

Diana was slightly taken aback by this side of Michael. It was for the first time that he had shown anyone his vulnerable side. She sighed and whispered- "Michael- It's OK."

"He said he hates me," whispered Michael as he looked at her with his tear-filled eyes, "I threw him out of Heaven and his last words were- I hate you Michael."

She bit your lip. Diana could feel his pain but didn't know what to do. She cupped his face tentatively in her hands asher brown eyes gazed into his grey ones.

"I know it hurts Mike. I understand how you feel. But sometimes things are out of our control. I will not say that everything is because of a purpose and it is all for the greater good. That is all a load of crap. It will hurt now, like hell. It will not recede overnight either. All I can say is that don't think you are alone. I am here for you Michael, all along."

He looked up at her and muttered, "All along?"

Diana nodded and whispered, "All along."

Suddenly, she felt her lips meet his warm ones. She closed her eyes as he deepened the kiss. Michael's hands moved and stopped at her waist as she fisted your hands in his hair. He broke the kiss and looked at Diana.

"I love you Diana."

She froze as her breath stopped. This was wrong. He was her leader, Heaven's Prince. She was just an average angel from the Warrior Garrison. This was wrong but did not feel so.

He smiled slightly and whispered softly in her ear, "I don't care about that. I just love you."

Diana smiled as she muttered, "I love you too Michael."

He held Diana's hand as his lips claimed her again.
