"Hiya!" A young Thor yelled as he slammed the wooden sword against a nearby tree that laid amongst the others in Asgard. The young blonde grinned as he saw he made a scratch in the bark of the tree, he whooped and laughed heroically. "Take that, Frost Giant!" He yelled at the tree, before he turned his head with a huge grin on his face towards his younger brother who was reading on the stairs.
"Loki! Did you see that?" The young blonde called out to his brother as two forest green eyes glanced up at him. Loki blushed lightly, and smiled a bit sheepishly, "Ah...no, forgive me brother. I was looking at some spells in my book." Thor crossed his arms, and puffed out his cheeks in a childish pout.
Loki couldn't help but laugh at his brother's childishness, making Thor blush and growl at his younger brother, "Quiet! Don't laugh at me!" Loki giggled behind his hand, and smiled at Thor, "Forgive me…but it was quite humorous to see you act so childish, dear brother."
Thor blushed at Loki's smile, and looked away, swinging the wooden sword idly in his hand, "It wasn't humorous…" Thor muttered, and Loki just laughed lightly behind his hand again before he placed his book on the golden stone step before he got up from where he sat.
He dusted off his green and black tunic before he walked over to Thor's side, "Oh, brother, don't pout. I'm sure some maiden will love your childishness when it is time for us to get wives." Thor blinked a few times before he looked at his brother, "Maiden? Pssh, why would I need some maiden when I have you, brother!"
Thor took Loki's hand, and looked him straight in the eyes, "I rather save you from Frost Giants, than save some maiden who probably won't even know what to do with herself at the that time." Loki blushed, and swiped his hand away, "D-Don't speak such nonsense, brother! We can't marry each other!"
Thor shrugged, and tossed the wooden sword to the ground, "Why not? Father said we can marry anyone we desire…" Thor went to his frightened brother, and took his hand before he got on one knee to kiss it softly making Loki's eyes go wide. "And…I want you to rule by my side, Loki."
Loki gulped, and placed a hand on his heart that felt like it was gonna beat out of his chest before he sighed, "Fine, brother. I will marry you." Thor grinned, and jumped up, "You will?" Loki smiled, and shrugged, "I have no one else asking me anytime soon, so yeah why not?"
Thor laughed heroically, and took Loki's hand, "Come…Princess Loki! I shall save you from the Frost Giants!" Thor chuckled, and dragged a blushing Loki up the stairs to the castle with the watchful eyes of their parents looking down at them. "They're so young…" Odin smiled, and looked at his wife, "So were we when I asked to marry you."
They both smiled at each other, as they watched their sons play and 'plan' out their futures together.
