Prompt 6- Hijack present exchange. Challenge; Cats.
Jack sighed as he walked back home. Well, if he could call it home. It was an old building he fixed up. No one lived there. He was homeless for a while. He saw the house. Sure it was breaking and entering, but he got a job, paid for the place, and it took a long time to do so by the way, and now lived in it. Still, it got lonely sometimes. He wished Hiccup, his boyfriend, could live with him, but he couldn't. Hiccup had told him he felt as lonely as Jack, but his father refused to let him live with the white haired boy. So...yeah...
MEOW!
Jack looked around.
'Did I just hear a...'
MEOW!
'...meow?' Jack wondered as he walked over to a box close to his door. He opener a flap and saw something that was bright green.
"Whoa..." he muttered as he picked up the box and walked to his friend Tooth's. She was a part time vet. She should know what to do.
"Come on Hiccup," Fishlegs sighed.
Snotlout snorted "why are you bothering getting him a pet?"
Hiccup glared at his cousin. "Because he's alone all the time!"
Snotlout rolled his eyes as Hiccup and Fishlegs continued to look for a pet for Jack.
MEOW!
MEOW!
"Was that a..."
MEOW!
"Cat?" Hiccup asked. He got up and walked over to a fallen basket. Which was moving on its own. Grabbing the basket, he peeked inside and saw something bright blue.
"I found his pet..."
"He's fine, except fpr the severed tail and that his teeth haven't come in...he is perrectly healthy." A woman with multicolored feathered hair said, her violet eyes on the kitten before her.
"Thanks Tooth." Jack said.
"No problem. So, is he your pet?"
"Not my pet. Someone else's. He was just left in a box by door...and I think I know who he should belong to." Tooth nodded and walked out of the room. She returned with a prewrapped box. She placed the kitten inside and gave to Jack. Jack smiled and left.
Hiccup smiled as he walked to Jack's house, a gift with airholes in his hands. Christmas was going to be here in a few minutes. So he had to get to-
"Hiccup?"
"Jack!"
Both boys ran up to each other.
"I wanted to give you your present." They blinked as they held out a box to each other. Slowly, they exchanged the boxes.
MEOW!
MEOW!
They stared at each other.
Hiccup opened the box and pulled a pure black kitten with emerald colored eyes, a short tail, akd no teeth? "Toothless..." He muttered.
Jack pulled out a pure white kitten with sapphire eyes, a thin tail and snow white teeth, "Snow..." The kittens purred and they smiled. No one should be alone on Christmas. No matter what, and this year, Hiccup and Jack had each other and their new furry friends.
Kura: Cute, right?
Sakura: Review.
