"It's only 3 am," Rainbow Dash said, groaning at her alarm clock. She felt like she had slept for the whole night but it wasn`t even close to the early morning. She wanted to go back to sleep but did not seem to be tired. She just felt like going down stairs and binging on whatever she saw. But since she didn`t want to gain weight, she decided to watch TV until she got tired.
But then Rainbow Dash was overcome by an odd feeling. She felt scared, almost like someone was watching her. This was not a typical feeling for her - most of the time she felt either hungry or competitive. It was strange!
Suddenly she heard a sound coming from the basement. It was almost like a high-pitched laugh. Then there was a loud bang. It sounded like something big and heavy was walking. Rainbow Dash`s heart was beating at a high rate. But she was curious, too. So she went down the stairs to the basement entrance. She slowly turned the rusty knob as she opened the door, but she couldn`t see anything. She tried to flip the light switch, but the light didn`t turn on, so she walked down the stairs in complete darkness.
When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she heard loud footsteps thumping on the floor. And it was then that she saw something that almost made her faint! Two red glowing eyes and shiny teeth. There was also a terrible smell – like blood and flesh. She quickly ran up the stairs!
But then she saw something terrible! It was a duck-like creature holding a cupcake and wearing a bib that said, "LETS EAT!" She felt like she was about to puke as she ran into the master bedroom and locked the door. She needed to get out of here, but now she was trapped. So she walked into the closet to hide, and was greeted by the worst thing she had ever seen in her life: it was a fox with sharp teeth, orange-yellow eyes a blood curdling smile. As the fox approached her, she let out a scream.
The very next moment she was in her bed, and daylight was flooding the window. She looked outside and everything was still and quiet. Her alarm clock said, "8:00 a.m." She looked around the room, and opened the closet door. It was empty. There was not a fox in sight.
