Chapter 1: The kiss
Christine looked worried but still walked towards Erik as the people of the masquerade watched with all eyes.
Erik looked proud and mean in his full white mask, red suit, and shining silver sword.
When Christine was close enough to Erik she leaned in and kissed him. Erik was surprised! But instead of just looking at Christine he held her close and kissed her again.
The people of the masquerade were confused. Wasn't this the horrible Opera Ghost that killed many men? Wasn't this the same Ghost that captured Christine Daae?
Raoul walked in just then.
"Christine!" cried Raoul.
Christine turned around sharply. Before she could say anything Erik picked her up and with a spark of fire a whole opened up in the floor and Erik, with Christine in his arms, was surrounded by mirrors.
Raoul jumped in, pulling his sword out. But when he got there he only saw Erik and Christine in the mirrors. He tried to stab Erik but he only stabbed thin air. Then all of a sudden a hand reached out. Raoul jumped and turned around. It was Madame Giry, telling him to get out of there.

"Your chains are still mine you belong to me!" stormed Erik.
"Here," replied Christine. She pulled the necklace from her neck and put it in Erik's hand, folding his fingers on it.
Erik was surprised. He thought she loved Raoul.
"I love you Erik!" said Christine.
