Positive Vibes

A teenage boy named Haru was sitting in his room, doing his homework, before hearing a pinging coming from his phone. When he turned his phone's screen on, he saw that a few tweets had been posted by Mirai Kuriyama. Haru sighed in annoyance, as he knew what a series of tweets from Mirai Kuriyama meant.

"Man, does she have to post EVERYTIME that something she doesn't like happens to her?" Haru said in an annoyed tone, dreading what he was about to open. The only reason he was opening Twitter was so he could stop following Mirai, which is something that he always neglected on doing, but not this time!

However, when Haru got on his Twitter, he saw pictures of Mirai with a blonde guy, that he saw at school, but couldn't put his finger on the guy's name. The first tweet was a picture of her and the blonde at an ice cream stand with the caption 'Getting some sweets with my sweetie' with a heart at the end.

"Oh…well this wasn't what I was expecting at all," Haru mumbled to himself with surprise. He was smiling though, as usually when Mirai sent a series of tweets, they were complaints and negative over reactions to her daily life. He wasn't one of the people who insulted her for it, but he was annoyed by it. Haru decided to check out the other few tweets that she sent out.

The second tweet was a picture of Mirai and the blonde guy sitting in the park holding hands, with the caption 'Me and Aki-kun just enjoying the day' with a smiley face emoji at the end of the sentence.

"Oh, Akihito!? That guy from the literature club? Mirai's dating him?" Haru asked himself with almost as much surprise as he had for the discovery of Mirai's positive tweets. Haru decided to go through the rest of the tweets. Two of them were just pictures of her and Akihito staying close together, holding each other on a bench. Unlike the first two, there weren't any captions underneath.

The last picture was of Mirai and Akihito kissing each other in front of a fountain in the park. There was a caption underneath that said 'Now THIS is how you end a great date!' with a few emojis with heart eyes after the exclamation point.

"Awwww…well, it looks like she's a lot happier now. I'm happy for her. Guess it's a good thing that I didn't unfollow her," Haru said with a smile on his face, before turning his phone off and going back to his homework.
