Do you guys still like Mika in Percy Jackson? I like it, but sometimes I am annoyed with the changes... I wasn't sure why, then it hit me. This chapter was born of that inspiration. It is amazing and makes sense... if you are confused wait or ask me... it is brilliant.

" NO! Mother!" Persephone barreled towards her mother, panic in her eyes as powerful magic ravaged her mind. Like a deflating ballon, her power leaked from her loudly. A Cloud covered her mind, her memories of Mika and the improvements of the Underworld fading. Her body shook as the growth of her warrior training with her mother atrophied to their previous state.

She was becoming nothing, her old self... and she could not figure out why!

Her mother was in a similar state, only her eyes were clouding over with her old grief and madness. It was like all progress was fading from them, like a factory reset!

" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" A Loud scream, that of a Goddess of Nature, drew them. Both Goddesses managed to see the Shocking site of Aura appear from the winds. Her body siezed as madness returned to her.

Peace appeared in the vortex of madness, Three Immortal appeared with a bored look in their eyes. They radiated power, enough for Persephone to overcome her pain and focus on them. They turned to her with a sigh.

" It brings no pleasure to do this, sister. I am afraid however, that your actions, and that of your champion through off the balance we maintain. We need this to maintain our power." The middle Immortal moved closer and closer, clearly a female. Eventually Persephone saw her for whom she was. Atropos, one of the Fates. " You are not the first, when Rome was born, we were forced to take action to not suffer a true overthrow. We allowed it to exist and modified it, pruning and plucking until we were once more ontop."

A Whitered hand was placed on her face, all of her power reset itself and her memories began to implode.

Another Fate stepped next to her, though she was not sure which. " We bring little joy from this, but we need it. We feed on the cycle of the Gods, much as the Gods feed on Mortal faith. It is out of nessicity that we do this, dear sister."

" Yes..." A Third Fate stepped up. " Hercules almost overcame Fate once, so few people wonder why his future was so unhappy... we were forced to do damage control, after all he was a mortal blessed by Zeus not only as his son, but as his legacy countless times, as well as Posiden's legacy and effectively an adopted son of Hera. Such power, such potential... we had little choice. Much was take from history, to allow us to maintain our status."

The First spoke again." Many times, throughout History, we have been forced to do this... Kronos was a good tool, he banished the boy for us though he believed it was for his benefit... foolish man. You will never regain your memories, Sister."

" You are probably wondering why we are even telling you this?" The Second spoke again, sadness evident in her tone. " Respect mostly... you grew, you moved past your previous petulance. It would have worked, you would have become Queen of the Gods and peace would have reigned.. however, as Father's reign supports our own, we cannot allow this growth. I am sorry... " She sounded choked up. " Call us cowards, sister, if you must... be we have felt the death of those Gods who have passed. We will not fall like that, we cannot fall like that."

The Third voice spoke up, a soft kiss placed against her cheek. " Please, forgive us... "

"... Yes, Mother... Yes, we can have some cereal." Persephone rolled her eyes at her mother's ranting. She had begun to tune her own, enjoying the sight of Aura's river. ' I miss Hades already, Mother is exhausting.' She looked up, frowning at her father. ' Why can I not just go down there, no Mother had to throw a fit. It isn't fair!'

" Jason, man." Don smiled at Jason, shaking from exhaustion and malnutrition. " How about some donuts!"

The son of Jupiter rolled his eyes, but did in fact pass him a few donuts. " I have to get to training, I have a quest in a couple of weeks."

" Yeah, yeah. Hope you survive, I just love ya man!" Don smiled, masking his shaking as he stuffed his face. He hurried away, finding his tiny nephew shivering next to a tree. " Ian, here you go little guy!"

The little faun was shaking, very, very close to death. " Thanks Unca Don!" He chowed down...

Never did he noticed the impotent anger that boiled inside of Don at the sight of his emaciated body. Why would the Gods allow this!

It wasn't right, but it was all they had...

"AHH!" Don leaped up, horrified at the sight of his tiny nephew colliding with the ground as two suction cup arrows slammed into his side.

" BULLSEYE!" Don knew that Maddison, daughter of Lelantos, was the one to shoot the arrow.

He knew better then to fight them, he would be slain should he try. All he could do was gently pop the arrows from his nephew's head and pray to Faunus and Fauna that the boy would be okay.

"... Your bath water is filled, Ares!" Hebe kept a smile on her face, barely stopping the hate in her heart at the sight of her brother. Ares was handsome, exceptionally so, but his personality and disgustingly hateful aura left her ready to vomit just looking at him.

Growling, Ares barelled in with a naked Aphrodite on his arm. " Bout time, brat! Get out, I'm busy here."

She barely withheld the urge to roll her eyes. ' Why did father give me this job... what the hell did I do to him to deserve it!'

Hades sighed in misery, looking out from his pile of paper work onto the landscape of souls roaming aimlessly throughout the Underworld. He sighed, loneliness and misery overfilling him. He was tired, even for a god of his Caliber, managing so much all of the time was exhausting.

" I miss Maria... Damn you, Persephone, for making me force her into rebirth..."

A single stress filled tear fell down his face at that thought.

He turned back to the paperwork, knowing it was all he had to balm his weary soul.

Everything hurt Mika, and yet he was at peace. Power racked his body, horribly cold power, ice and misery and fire all rolled into a single essence. He swam through darkness, a living nightmare given foothold in reality. It pained him in ways he could and would never be able to express.

Yet, it was this suffering that made him so at ease. The chaotic magic blasted aside his connection to the Gods he once called allies, even the brand upon his forearm no longer tingled with the essence of Rome. He was severed from the all, separate and unbound to all.

No... No... this was not entirely true.

He felt a connection, an anchor that did not call obedience but kinship. Two in fact... one above and one below.

Or at least, that was what he assumed. He couldn't tell what was up or down at the moment, or any other direction to be honest. He wasn't even sure he had a body, that he existed at all. Physical sensation had faded away, leaving him like a heavy cloud of energy five miles wide. He couldn't really do much...

Or could he?

Memories flitted through his mind, or whatever he could call this level of consciousness, and he focused on it as hard as he could..

A Sharp pain.

A Loud yell

A Feeling of pride.

The Sting of Defeat.

A Cry in the Dark, the mark of Loss

Everything seared as one and so drew together his essence, swirl by swirl. Time meant nothing, but slowly he managed to stumble out of the Dark and open his eyes. Sulfur mixed with blood filled the sky above him, the cries of a thousand monsters echoed around him. He had no idea what he was, where he was...

Without thinking, he went to stand, bumping against a thick pasty shell.

' A Blister, I am in a fluid filled sack." Freezing, he felt the panic over come him. He rammed against the sack over and over, then his magic exploded and ripped through the sack. He tumbled out, fur soaked with the sick fluid of the blister. Standing on all four paws, Mika shook off the taint. ' Where am I? I cannot feel Persephone, her essence no longer fills Nature...' His eyes widened. ' I cannot feel nature... I can barely feel my magic, no that is not true... I can feel it, but it feels wrong. Different, heavier.'

Shaking off his fear, Mika launched himself forward, standing on a rock and sniffing the air. ' Sulfur, and the taint of monsters... wait, why am I sniffing? Even with the increase of using Nature magic, I couldn't smell like this?'

Looking down, he almost blacked out, just in time for his memories to hit him full swing.

' I am a werewolf... fuck.'

Horrified, he looked around and it hit him even harder.

' I am were all monsters go... I am in Tartarus...'

Chapter End, tell me what you think in the reviews.

Yes, it seems like a reboot and it is but not for why you think. The Fates are not evil, persay, they are feeding and fear starvation. It is sad perhaps, if I had to choose on thought on it.

The Idea came to me when I realized that they( ALL GODS AND PANTHEONS!) were destined to constantly live the same cycle. I realized that the Fates of their pantheons owned then as much as the Gods owned humans... Trials of Apollo confirmed it in some ways, with Prophecies literally being needed for futures.

But enough explanations, I want you to guess the rest!

What is Mika going to do now! Wait and See!

Love, your Ninja Overlord,

Mika, SPN.
