Kagome watched from the tree as Kikyo kissed Inuyasha again. Tears stained her face. Once again she was put second. They only had one piece of the jewel left to find. What did he need Kagome for? He had Kikyo. She took out a small pocket knife, something stopped her.

She stood unable to cut herself, more for the fear of him smelling. She backed away and ran. She tried to really distance herself. When she felt she got far enough, she , she took the blade to her wrist. "What does he need me for?"

Kagome lay on the ground, quickly losing blood and her vision bluring.

Inuyasha was about to kiss Kikyo again when something caught his nose. "Kagome…" he looked behind him. He could smell her blood. He ran to her searching all over.

He found her, she was barely breathing. He picked her up getting her blood on his kimono. "Kagome?" He looked sad and worried.
Kagome opened her eyes slightly and saw a face she didn't xpect. "Inu-yasha?"
He had small smile. She had lost a lot of blood. "Your so stupid! Why did you? Do it?"
She closed her eyes. 'He loves me?...he must.' A tear fell down, her body became limp in his arms and a smile spread across her face.
