Pure Ice
She moved gracefully never making a sound. Her eyes were hollow and soulless. She was the perfect epitome until you realized all her smiles and kindness were fake. For she had no feelings of warmth left inside her being. They had long ago been freezed out and replaced with a chilling facade of innocence.
People only saw what they wanted to see in her. She did not pretend to be kind or humane; always placing herself above everyone. She thrived to perfect every aspect of her life from immaculate hair to mastering swordsmanship. Many who had witnessed her in sync with her sword marveled at the litheness that she handled her sword yet still with such accurate aim. She was not welcome among other groups; many found her presence too overwhelming. They preferred to admire her from a distance than allow themselves to be compared against her in her presence. She was amused greatly by this; however she welcomed her solitude and peace.
Inhabitants of the village gossiped about her in all her icy splendor, they had not yet figured out that none were considered welcome to bask in her glory. She believed that they were just pawns in the same game gossiping and backstabbing members of their own society just to have a chance to be worshipped at. She was marveled by far and near, young nobles had heard of this "Perfect Ice Queen", they considered the rumors they heard utter nonsense. Some had their curiosity stirred at the mention of this beauty; many traveled great distances to view this thriving perfection. They were not disappointed. Then again why should they be? Was she not splendid? Was she not an ideal wife? Was she not more perfect than life itself?
Up to a point everyone uttered the same answer, yes, even those blinded by their envy agreed deep inside their soul; until one man saw through her, saw her despair, her crippling soul, her determination to be the best, her fickle smiles, laughter and enjoyment, he witnessed a weakening spirit begging to be let out an paraded around people even though the mistress would not allow that, she was far to near perfect to let a single slip of her true emotion to show. This was the first and only person to say…no. Yet he was also the only man who could bring her out of her shell, letting the spirit trapped inside out, he was the only one to save her very soul.
