Chapter One

The Strangest Year

For many Hogwarts students, the first year is the most strange. Some say it is their last. Some may even believe it to be their 4th or even their 6th. But for Percy Jackson, it was his second year, the year he was 12.

Percy had a hard time believing anything he had been told about Hogwarts. When he had been given his letter, he had thought it to be the most untrue thing in the world.
He had thought it to be a joke.

Strange things always seemed to happen to Percy, but he didn't think that they were his fault until now. He always seemed to have bad, bad luck with field trips and pretty much everything else. But that wasn't all. He would have so many more problems once he knew that he was a demigod.

His second year had ended with a bang. A literal bang from some of the older students who liked to pull pranks (you can probably tell that we're hinting to the Weasley twins). But when he went home for the summer, so much more would happen. He had no idea now, but he would soon because he was the son of Poseidon. He just didn't know yet.

This was kind of a short chapter because I wasn't in a writing mood today, so think of it as an introduction. I hope you like my crossover – I felt the need to combine my two favorite books.
