"This is the last time I ever hunt goblins!" Anna Valerious sighed in frustration as she stood under the rickety bridge.
Van Helsing slid a hand into his inner coat pocket and pulled out a slim glass bottle labeled 'Absinthe' and took a swig, he then offered the bottle to Anna.
"Is this really the time for drinking?" Anna said disapprovingly.
"Anna, we are under a rotting bridge, it is pissing down with rain and we are looking for a small, invisible thing and its cold and dark-if there was a time for drinking, this would be it."
She seemed to see the sense in that and took a swig of the green liquid.
They heard a cackle and felt something whip past their ankles.
"There!" Anna said and pointed at a shadow. Van Helsing opened a lead-lined barrel and held it at the ready.
After about an hour of chasing they finally managed to trap the small monster and sank the barrel in the deep, boggy marsh.
"About time!" Van Helsing sighed and pulled out the bottle again.
"Shall we toast?" Anna asked in the thick accent Van Helsing loved so much.
"I believe we shall, what to?" He replied.
"To standing under a rotting bridge, in the cold and dark whilst it is pissing down with rain?"
He smirked "Sounds good to me".
They passed the bottle two and fro between them.
Anna's hair was soaked and her make-up had smudged around her almond shaped eyes, but Van Helsing still couldn't take his eyes off of her.
