RoTA Vol. 2: Payback Preview
Mistral, 1 month after the Dark Aura Incident...
"Of course, Glynda. I should be finished up here soon, then I'll be straight back to Vale. Give Ozpin my regards."Oobleck said, hanging up his scroll, before pocketing it and looking back at the street. As he walked, he felt a presence watching him. Scowling, he entered a pub on the street, finding a seat near the back window. As he placed his order, he saw a female with a sword on her back enter and sit at the bar. As she got her drink, she turned to look at Oobleck, who nodded. Sliding off her stool, she went and sat down across from him.
"You're Professor Oobleck, right?"the woman asked, before Oobleck smirked. "Doctor. I didn't earn the degree for nothing."he said, before the girl nodded. "I guess you're the one who had a run in with Ozpin a few days ago?"he asked, before the girl nodded. "He was the first on my list."she said, before Oobleck's brow furrowed in anger. "And what, I'm second?"he asked, before the woman nodded, and one hand went to the sword on her back. "Answer me this. Are you going to fight back?" As she asked this, Oobleck finished his drink, before staring her dead in the eye. "Yes."He said, before the girl nodded, and finished her own drink. When she emptied the bottle, she quickly swung it into Oobleck's head, stunning him, before she slammed his head into the table, and pulled him out of the booth, before throwing him out the door.
As Oobleck staggered to his feet, he turned to face the girl, who simply punched him back to the ground, before she unsheathed her sword, pulled him back to his feet, and stabbed him straight through the heart. "This is for my brother."she said, before she put a foot on his chest, and pushed him off her blade. As he bled out, she sheathed her sword, and knelt down next to him, and rummaged in his pockets. Finding his scroll, she took it out of his pocket, before she scrolled through the contacts list, and found who she was looking for. Calling the number, she put the scroll to her ear. "Yo."The voice said, as she held her own scroll in her other hand. "Adam Robertson."she said, as she typed in a number in her scroll. "You don't know me..." Pausing her thumb above the call button, she pressed it.
"But you're about to."
